Geno eventually fell asleep as the minutes passed by. Reaper, unable to fall asleep, he went to his 'secret' hiding hole in the wall. He slipped through it, unaware that Geno woke up. Geno looked around, trying to find Reaper. She searched the whole house, but she couldn't find him. "Reaper! Reaper where are you?!" She cried. But Nobody Came. Geno felt like crying. "He hates me doesn't he?" Geno quietly cried into the silence. She curled up into a ball and curled her tail around her as she silently cried. "Why won't he just say so?! He's just trying to be my friend out of pitty isn't he?" Geno muttered again. Reaper entered the house again, this time with a large trout in his jaws and himself soaking wet. He walked over to Geno and carefully placed the fish next to her. Geno growled threateningly. He backed up knowing not to get her angrier. "Why do you still try and be friends with me?! I know you hate me!" Geno cried out. "Geno, no. I don't hate you Geno, I love you, I always have. I thought you hated me." Reaper responded. Geno looked at him astonished. "What!? of course not! I like you, everybody does!" Geno half shouted. Reaper hugged Geno, something very few would dare. As tears began to fall, Geno hugged back, not having been loved on for years. Reaper was surprised, he wasn't expecting Geno to hug him back. She started to sob, her keeping a tight grip on him. "Shh sh sh, It's ok Geno, it's ok." Reaper attempted to calm her. Eventually she calmed down. "You ok now?" Reaper questioned. Geno nodded her skull a bit, her ears still flattened to the back of her skull. "I love you Reaper." She told the tom. Reaper hugged her tighter. "I love you to Geno." The two had a nice cuddle session.
