Wandering around the forest, Code felt her SOUL beat faster and faster every second, every turn, and every time she stepped on a twig. She did her best to drown out Chara's scary, and rough voice, telling her where to go and what to do. She could feel her anxiety rising within her rib cage. Then, with out warning, the cries of the spirits of many children who have died all desperately cried at her to go back, to turn around, to not trust Chara. Panicked, she deiced to trust the cries of the many. Turning around, she bolted down the dark and beaten path. Chara followed her, shouting to continue down the path, deeper into the woods. She ignored the cries of Chara, but, stopped at a fork in the road. Unable to remember which way she had gone from, she turned to Chara to help. "Oh, I don't think I'll help you!" Her ghostly voice echoed through the still and silent trees. "C-Chara! P-please! Y-you have to!" Code cried desperate to return to Ink, and her brothers Paperjam and Gradient. Heck, she'd be happy to even see Error. Chara, being able to read Code's mind could see this. "You'd really be happy to see that murder?! He killed a child Code, have you forgotten that?" Chara taunted. Code shook her head no."I'm try to help you get away from him, so that you don't get killed as well." Chara tried to convince Code. "B-but, what if Mama, PJ, and Gray m-miss me?" Code replied. "YOU REALLY THINK THEY CARE ABOUT YOU?! THEY'RE JUST USING YOU CODE! THEY WOULDN'T GIVE A CRAP IF YOU DIED!" Chara screamed at her. Code tried pushing her anxiety down, as to not cause her breathing problems. She dashed down a path, coincidentally the correct one. Chara attempted to stop her, but failed as she burst out into the open. Although, now seeing the scene in front of her, she'd rather stayed within the deadening trees. Chara smirked, knowing this was to happen. Panic rose in Code to great to hide. Ink and Error were fighting as Paperjam lay injured on the ground, Gradient trying to heal him. Tears were running down Code's face due to her seeing her family being torn apart. Her anxiety and breathing only got worse and worse, Ink and Error not noticing until it was to late to try and help. Pain engulfed Code's SOUL as she collapsed to the ground, her vision slowly fading to black, the last thing saw before her vision faded out, Ink and Error running towards her, Chara's sickening laughing growing faint.
