Okay, so I decided I'm gonna publish here some of my works 'cause yeah why not.

I'm gonna start with this hp next gen one-shot, which is not the best I have, and I think I could do it a lot better, but it was the first Harry Potter related thing I've ever written, back in March, and I like to post as the first chapter 'cause it's where all started. Please, don't hesitate to correct all the mistakes you'll find (I'm sure there will be a lot) and enjoy?

(Also, I want to add that I haven't changed a thing from what I originally wrote in March, so maybe my now writing style it's not the same? Idk)

Aaand I want to dedicate the thing (that's how I'm gonna call it) to EnterUsernameHere394 because honestly, you are such an amazing person and I love you! (and our karaoke moments XD) And there's a thing in this thing (it's actually the whole thing) that made me think of you... Have you guessed it? Hehe :)

-Next gen (try not to get confused with all the characters, if it's possible... and if you can't, just ask me who they are and I'll tell you)
-There's not gonna be ships (sorry?)
-Also do I have to say that I don't own Harry Potter? Or is it obvious?

It was a normal dinner at Hogwarts. Students were sitting, eating, chatting and complaining about the soon coming exams.

At the Slytherin table, Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy were having an interesting conversation about a special girl called Rose Granger-Weasley. This girl was sitting at the Gryffindor table, chatting animatedly with her cousin Dominique Weasley. Next to her were sitting Hugo Granger-Weasley and Lily Potter, both cousins and fans of Quidditch, the main theme of their going on discussion. Still at the Gryffindor table, there were the sisters Lucy and Molly Weasley, talking about exams. Roxanne Weasley was stuck between Louis Weasley and her twin Freddie Weasley, who was happily arguing about the band 'The Queen' with James Potter.

If some random Hogwarts' students saw all those cousins, happily talking, they would probably think "What a lovely family, all eating in calm together".

If you think that is right, you are wrong. If there's one word that could never, ever be used to describe the Potter-Weasley clan, that word is calm.

One could almost always associate Albus and Scorpius with calm. Rose, Hugo, Lily, Lucy and Molly were also usually out of the mess. Dominique, Roxy and Louis were sometimes involved with the pranks, but the true troublemaker stars were James Potter and Freddie Weasley.

James Sirius Potter was Lily and Albus' older brother, so they were usually the pranked ones. He was normally told he was like his grandfather, the first James Potter, and his best friend and god-grandfather, Sirius Black. James was a Quidditch chaser in the Gryffindor team and loved playing pranks with his partner in crime Freddie.

Fred Weasley the Second was Roxanne's twin brother, but, unlike James and his brothers, he didn't prank her. They always said it was because if they pranked her, when in need, she wouldn't help him, but it actually was because she also knew how to prank back. Fred was usually called Freddie, to distinguish him from his dead uncle. Just like James with his grandfather, Fred too was told he was like Fred Weasley the First, and he was proud of it.

The two of them were inseparable and dangerous together, but when you saw them in their happy argument about the best music group ever, one could easily think nothing dangerous was going to happen.

"I'm saying Queen is the best and you can't deny it!" Declared Freddie with a smirk, the same James had drawn in his face.

"Come on, you only like them because there was Freddie Mercury!" Argured back James, who loved seeing the fake offended face that Freddie had just on.

"That's not true!" He almost shouted, but still smiling.

"Yes it is, so you need to accept The Beatles are way better than The Queen!"

"Never!" Freddie said, "Besides, The Queen have greatest songs!"

"Nah, have you ever listened to Blackbird?" Continued James, "Of course you haven't, because if you had you would be on my side!"

"Well, Don't Stop Me Now would change your mind too!"

"Okay, Freddie, I give you that." Said James with a sight, "Don't Stop Me Now is a pretty damn good song."

"So you agree!" Fred said pointing at him in thriumph. "But honestly, the way it starts... It's a true masterpiece."

"Yeah, the way it says Tonight, I'm gonna have myself..." James sang the last part with a hand in his heart, doing it more dramatic.

"A real good time..." Continued Freddie, being dramatic too and causing a few people to stare at them, as if they knew what was next.

Now the two cousins sang alike "I feel ali-i-ive!"

More people were staring at them, Louis and Roxy too, both sharing an expecting look.

"An the world, we'll turn it inside out, yeah" James stood up.

"And floating around, in ecstasy" Freddie stood up too, they looked at each other, grinned, and without caring about all the Gryffindor table staring at them, they started singing at the same time, "So don't stop me now. Don't stop me..."

James decided he would start the next part, so he sang "'Cause I'm having a good time, having a good time!"

He stopped there, knowing Fred would continue. Freddie did like expected, singing "I'm a shooting star, leaping through the sky"

"Like a tiger, defying the rules of the gravity!" Now it was impossible not to stare at them, because they were standing on the benches, pretending a fork was their microphone. Plus, they were perfectly coordinated: when one sang the other was silent, and this was all improvised.

"I'm a racing car passing by..."

"Like lady Godiva!"

Now the two of them "I'm gonna go, go, go, there's no stopping me!"

And James "I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah! Roxy! Louis!" He called the two other Gryffindors to join the performance.

The two cousins got the message and said a quick 'accio guitar!', making two red electric guitars arrive at their hands, so that they started playing while Freddie sang "Two hundred degrees that's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit!"

"I'm traveling at the speed of light, I wanna make a supersonic man out of you!" The last part was sang by all the four cousins, but only James and Freddie continued, as the other two were too busy focused on playing their guitars.

"Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball! Don't stop me now, If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call!"

Dominique Weasley, from her chair, was enjoying the show, but she knew that an important part about Queen songs was the piano, so she transfigured her water goblet into a piano keyboard and started playing.

"Don't stop me now!" Was singing James, "'Cause I'm having a good time!"

"Don't stop me now!" But Fred, who was singing the second voice at the moment, decided he wouldn't say the next part and just shouted "Go Dom!", before joining James singing "I don't wanna stop at all!"

"Yeah, I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars"

"On a collision course!"

"I am a satellite, I'm out of control!"

"Yeah, I'm a sex machine, ready to reload"

"Like an atom bomb about to..."

Then the five cousins "Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh explode!"

And with that, James and Freddie jumped from the table to the floor, going on singing "I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah, two hundred degrees, that's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit! I'm traveling at the speed of light, I wanna make a supersonic woman of you!"

Their cousin Hugo decided he liked the performance idea, so he looked at Rose, who sighed in defeat before moving her wand and making drum appear in front of Hugo. The boy took Lily's wand and started playing the drums, using his and her cousin's wand, and the other students looked at him too.

Meanwhile, the two singing boys were still in the middle of the great hall with a fork in their hands singing their song, James being the first voice like early.

"Don't stop me, don't stop me, don't stop me"

"Hey hey hey!"

"Don't stop me, don't stop me"

"Ooh, ooh, ooh, go Hugo!" Freddie decided to give a bit more of protagonism to his younger cousin, and Hugo smiled at him while perfectly doing Roger Tylor's job.

"Don't stop me, don't stop me" The two cousins where perfecly coordinated, and with some help from the two guitarists they were making an awesome job "Have a good time, good time" "Don't stop me, don't stop me" "Ah, oh yeah!"

And again, Freddie's solo time, "Oh, I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah, two hundred degrees, that's why they call me Mister Fahrenheit! I'm traveling at the speed of light, I wanna make a supersonic man out of you!"

And James, Roxy and Louis were singing in harmony the "Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time!" Verses while Freddie sang "I'm having a ball!"

"Don't stop me now!"

"If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call!"

"Don't stop me now!"

"'Cause I'm having a good time, yeah, yeah!"

"Don't stop me now!"

"Yes, I'm havin' a good time!"

Hugo and Dominique joined them to sang, as dramatically as possible, the last line, "I don't wanna stop at all!"

But James and Freddie, being the two Drama Queens they were, fall to their knees while singing "La da da da daah, da da da haa! Ha da da ha ha haaa ha da daa ha da da aaa!"

And they went silent. All the hall staring at them in awe, trying to figure out if it was previously planned, and wondering what would Headmeaster McGonagall's reaction be.

There were a few seconds of silence before all the hall broke into an applause.

The six cousins grinned at each other, obviously proud, but in their family members' faces there were all different expressions.

Scorpius was handing defeatedly a galleon to Albus, who said "I knew today they would do something big" triumphantly.

Rose had her face in her hands and was murmuring something that sounded a lot like "Idiots".

Lucy was enjoying the show like the other students, but her older sister Molly was pressing the Prefect's badge with a disliking and superior expression.

Lily was whispering to Hugo with an angry face about using her wand to play the drums.

Hugo was grinning while apologising to Lily and thanking Rose, who was desperate about the 'helping Hugo with the drums' matter.

Dominique's expression clearly said she was proud of herself, but she was patting Rose's back, saying with a big smile "Rosie, it's cool to help James and Freddie, sometimes!" But when she saw her cousin didn't take this words well, she quickly added "And besides, you didn't help them, it was just Hugo's smile, it's irresistible!" Rose nodded, chuckling.

Roxanne was standing in the middle of the great hall with a guitar in her hand, smiling. She liked it. She highfived Louis and went to sit at her place.

Louis' situation was mostly like Roxy's. He enjoyed playing the guitar with his cousins, but he went back to eating, hoping the professors didn't want to give detention today.

However, James and Fred weren't finished yet. They were both grinning, enjoying being the center of the attention, James probably more than Freddie. They looked at each other and knew exactly what to do.

James started. He hold the fork they used as the microphone and said "Thank you all!" The hall broke again in applauses, "So, first, Huggie Granger-Weasley at the drums!" The students clapped, but Hugo send them a deadly glare.

Freddie continued, holding his fork like James, "And great Dommy Weasley at the piano!" There were more claps and Dominique enjoyed them, but she decided to remark "My name's Dominique!"

James took the attention again calling "And to Roxy and Louis at the guitars!" The fact that they didn't use silly names for them was a true prove of respect towards them, and Roxy and Louis enjoyed the applauses without problems.

"And Freddie and me, the great James Potter, for being the best singers ever!"

"Yeah! And we're the most handsome too!" Added Freddie high-fiving his cousin and best mate.

But between the claps and voices, someone shouted out: "They are going to have detention, aren't they?"

All the students turned to Professor McGonagall, who didn't say anything, because she knew James and Fred were going to answer the question. And so they did.

"We are not going to have detention, because..." Started James.

"One; Roxy and Louis here did an excellent demonstration to y'all about the accio spell." Continued Freddie.

"Two; our dear cousin Dom showed how to do an excellent transfiguration from a water goblet to a piano keyboard." Smirked James.

"Three; Hugo made a perfect apparition spell you should all try to learn." Added Freddie.

"Well, actually it was Rose" Corrected Hugo, and now he was the one with the smirk.

"What?! Wait, Rosie helped us with that?" Asked a confused Fred.

"Yeah she did!" Proudly answered the Granger-Weasley boy.

"OK, Freddie, I know it's hard to process, but we need to continue, so correction: Three; Rose made a perfect apparition you shouldn't try to learn 'cause she'd correct you 'till you do it better than her." Finished James, amking the great hall chuckle.

"And if that's not enough for you..."

"Four; we did an excellent performance, so if you are not satisfied, I dunno what else do you want!"

"So Minnie? What do you say?" Said Freddie, and they both looked at the Headmaster, who now had the power to decide their fate.

Professor McGonagall thought about it during a few seconds, and ended saying "There will not be a detention.", firmly.

The hall broke into applause again, and James and Fred received happily the applause, going back to where they were sitting.

"So you accept I win?" Asked Freddie with a smirk.

"In your dreams, Freddie Mercury, 'cause we all know that the Beatles are still the best, don't we?" Answered James, obviosly not letting him go.

"Oh, come on! We even made a Queen's song performance! Isn't that enough?"

"No! We should make a Beatles performance! Maybe Penny Lane?"

And like that they started again.

Now everybody should have learned the lesson. This started like a normal, calm, happy dinner, and ended with a Queen performance in the middle of the hall. And nobody could preview that (well, maybe only Albus, but that's besided the point), because it was totally improvised by the pranking kings of Hogwarts James Potter and Freddie Weasley. And, with them, everything was possible.

Anyways, quick question: Are you more Queen or Beatles?
I am definetely Beatles, but I had a small Queen phase between January and March :) (Also 'Don't stop me now' is super great and there's no denying so...)
