So, hey guys. I need to confess my sins right now. So, everyone meet

He is in Super Smash Brothers for Brawl, 4, and Ultimate. He is also a servant to the Goddess of light.

He is my favorite character and I main him. (Also if you didn't know. In the SSB fandom. Main is basically like your bias for K-pop but, this time it's for a video game). I love him and he shall be protected because of how much of a cinnamon roll he is.

But, uh here is the thing. Before I played him in Smash 4. I THOUGHT HE WAS A GIRL! I don't know why I thought he was a girl when it so clearly looks like he is a boy. But, I guess the hair, clothes, and sometimes the way he moves or poses caught me off guard.

I even sent some fanart of him to a friend and asked her if Pit was a boy or girl

She responded with "boy" until I explained what I meant

Then, she agreed with my point because even she thought he was a girl.

So, tell me, guys. Have you ever misgendered a character and if so who? Tell me if you guys also thought Pit was a girl from a first glance or something like that. Also, tell me who you main in Smash Bros, I wanna know. And fair warning, there may or may not be Super Smash Bros content from here on out.
