I just don't understand how it got to this point of hostility to one another. When did we start accusing each other and demeaning one another because of our ideals? When did it become the norm for polarization of the political parties? When did it become civilized to not be civilized? Why do we continue to bash each other and ignore what the other has to offer because they are Republicans or Democrat's? When did it become okay to brutally fight each other to the point of fatality?
We shouldn't be fighting so pointlessly. Neither side will prevail. Before you know it the world will end whilst you are arguing about non-essential topics. Nothing will ever get done. So please for just this once put aside hate, prejudices, and stereotypes. We need to come together or we will fall divided. "United we stand. Divided we fall."
"Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future."
-John F. Kennedy
