The small creak of floorboards beneath her feet. She looked around, using her phone's flashlight to see.

It was night, and she had just gotten a video from Jack. He told her simply to go back to her house, and be ready to fight something. He said it wasn't himself, but he couldn't tell her yet.

She cluched a kitchen knife in her hands, which where turning white. There was blood in the floor, leading up to a wall.

There lay Felix.

He was sitting, his head resting on his chest and blood staining his clothing.

She fell to her knees, checking for a pulse. It was faint, but it was there.

She lifted his head and saw a huge slash from his neck to his stomach. It could be deadly. She had to save him.

She stuck the knife in her pocket and awkwardly picked Felix up, carrying him outside and dialing 911.

As she called them, inside the house Jack sat in a small, isolated room with a small window. He was watching her.

He hoped that someone would come in time.

He heard his door creak open and turned to face the man who walked in.

His clothing was splattered with a dark liquid, and his eyes were all black with red pupils.

Jack backed up against the wall, glaring at the man.

"You brought her." Stated the man, his cracked glasses flashing in the dim light of the room and his voice unnaturally deep and slightly echoing.

"For Felix." Said Jack, with a trace of fear in his Irish accent.

"She will meet the same fate, you know." Said the man, slowly walking to Jack and holding a bloody baseball bat in his hand.

"People will come." Said Jack.

"They take time. She is already back inside, looking for her poor Jackaboy. Too bad he won't be there to say hello." Said the man.

"Don't call me that. Only Mark can." Growled Jack.

"But I am Mark!" Said the man.

"No. You are much worse."

"I would disagree."

"Well that sucks for you, Dark." Jack spat the name, though the other man seemed to not notice the fury in Jack's voice as Jack said his name.

"Goodbye Jack." Said Dark in a taunting way. He raised the bat above his head, lingering so he could see the fear in Jack's eyes.

He began to bring it down, but something stopped it. It was a hand.

Her hand.

She used Dark's surprise as a distraction, wrenching the bat from his hands and using it to attack Dark. But Dark seemed fine, but slightly annoyed by her quick reflexes.

"Run Jack!" She screamed. Jack looked at her, seeming conflicted. He then fell to his knees, releasing a scream. She looked at Jack, worried. But Dark tackled her and held her down, looking at Jack with a calm expressing. Jack stared at the ground, rocking back and forth on his knees. Then he stopped.

He looked back up at the two. His eyes resembled Dark's, except a light green instead of red.

"Anti." Greeted Dark.

"Dark." Said what was Jack, tipping his head to Dark as he stood. His voice was eerie, slightly higher and with the faint echo.

She looked at Jack, now Anti, in shock. He was one too? He had an inner darkness that could posses him?

She struggled in Dark's grip, but with no success.

He stood up, pulling her up also. He heed her hands behind her back.

"Jack -" she began.

"Shut up Jay." Spat Dark. Jay looked up at him, her eyes flashing with hate and fear.

"What should we do with her?" Said Anti.

"She could be useful." Said Dark.

"We'll keep her here for now." Said Anti, and those works were followed with darkness.

Then a scream.

Jay sat up, her eyes wide and sweat making her clothes stick to her body. She had just had a nightmare.

She curled up in a ball and rocked back and forth, unable to stop herself from sobbing.

It was scary, seeing her closest friend become murderous monsters. But it was only a dream, right?

The door of her room slammed open, to reveal Mark. He rushed to her side, attempting to comfort her.

"Mark?" Jay asked.

"Yes?"

"Is Darkiplier real?" She asked. "It's stupid, I know. It just is..." She trailed off.

"I promise you, he's not real." Said Mark.

But what if Mark was lieing?
