So, before we start, I am gonna stop updating this book with parts of the squad. It has it's own book now.

Here's a quick sneak peak that will help later on.

Cold.

The water closed in around her, as she just managed to close her mouth in an attempt to grasp some air.

Her head smacked into a rock, causing stars to form in her vision.

She held the breath, trying to swim up but, oddly, could not.

She was limp, as she sank slowly down the still water.

Peace.

There was a peaceful silence, not a deafening one but a calm, relaxing one.

She stared straight up, ignoring the sting in her eyes as the light flickered through the water.

She felt the rough, rocky ground meet her back as her chest began to hurt. She pushed it away, but it intensified quickly.

Then, her body began to grow numb as blackness began to creep at the edges of her vision. A small stream of bubbles escaped her mouth, revealing the breath fading.

It was getting stronger.

She was barely holding on, feeling the urge to let go. The peace that had enclosed around her had faded, not turning into a monster in an attempt to take her away.

She almost went with it, but a picture of  her appeared in her mind, standing out as her life flashed before her eyes.

Her.

She was the reason she didn't let go, the reason she was able to be rescued by a similar blonde.

And that is why she helped her recover the other piece of the stone, the half that she had not managed to place into the developing body.

She was the cause of all of this.

And she would be the end of it.
