No one P.O.V

A blue tubby by the name of Ron was in search of his soulmate, when he was a child he has asked what the purpose of the red string was for. He had been told it was too find his soulmate who was attached to the other end.

Ron walked through streets, sometimes giving a tug on the string to see how close he was, the idea of finding his soulmate so fascinating to his mind that he had not a single care about if this was annoying his potential soulmate.

Cars raced through the streets, Honking sometimes in annoyance at the blueberry when he crossed their path. Ron would finally snap from his haze, an angry yell coming from a driver cause him to finish running across the road, panting softly when he reached the sidewalk of safety.

"At least my soulmate wasn't in one of the cars...that would have been awkward..." Ron chuckled to himself, resting on the sidewalk for a moment to fix his messy darker blue hair.

Pulling it all into a bun he would stand up, determination shining in his eyes. "I'm going to find my soulmate today no matter what!" He said proudly, His hazel eyes shining from pure determination and excitement. One could almost see stars in his eyes from how excited he was about this.

Ron would then go back to running down the sidewalk following his string and occasionally giving it a tug to see how close he was.

The shorter the string got the faster he ran, though his legs ached from the workout he had been put through, yet adrenaline kept him going, His determination never letting him down.

Eventually Ron would reach a small little park with a huge lake, and would stand behind a tree, his ears raising as he saw a green tubby sitting in front of the lake, their legs crossed and their arms in their lap as they seemed to stare into the water.

Ron would look at them, dazed when reality finally hit him that his soulmate was sitting right in front of him, a red string tied around their wrist.

Ron wouldn't move, now afraid that they would notice. However their ear would flick and slowly, very slowly would raise their wrist with the string. They would then wind it around Their fingers, Ron's ears lowering as he watched.

Quickly they would get a very sharp and harsh tug, getting a yelp from the blueberry, the tug having been strong enough to yank him from his hiding spot and dragging him through the grass.

"Oww..." he whined, sitting up and glaring at the green tubby. "To bad..your stupid small tugs made me spill my drink on myself so this is what you get..." the green one would say blankly.

It looks like things were off to a bad start
