Julia was in detention, for passing a love letter to this boy, Dylan. She truly regretted it. The other students in detention were Alice, Leon, Troy, Javon, Ira, and Cooper. The teacher was Mr. Johnson. He was keeping an eye on them.

It was a boring time period, to say the least. Julia left her CD player at home. Had she brought it with her, she would have listened to some music. It was dead silent. And, no one was allowed to talk.

The only thing, that was probably keeping things from being too quiet, was the heavy rain, outside. It has been raining, since this morning, and it would continue into tonight. Julia's ears perked up at the sound of the heavy rain. It was actually starting to make her fall asleep. Her eyes started to droop.

"No sleeping, during detention!" said Mr. Johnson.

"Okay, sorry!" scoffed Julia. She would have to wait till she got home, so she could take a nap.

With that said, detention on a rainy day, was a bad combination.
