  I rubbed my eyes, not yet fully awake. I decided to get my usual coffee on the weekend. In the hall, I skimmed over the photos hanging. I smiled at the memories. I noticed a nail in the wall where my daughter's school picture was. "Abby?", I asked, knocking on her open door. Abby tossed off her purple blanket, "Yes?"

"Did you take your school picture off the wall?", I raised my eyebrows. She stared at me blankly. "No..what happened?" I shook it off, "Nothing." The rest of the day was a usual Sunday. Abby's father, Kevin, picked her up for a movie and lunch. Then, at four, I took Abby to gymnastixs, then at six, to dance.

I dropped my purse on the granite counter. The family beach photo was missing. "Abigail,are you sure that you didn't take it?", I interrogated her.
