~~ Soulmate AU where you have a countdown clock that counts down till the moment you meet your soulmate~~

The day was the perfect day for (Y/N) to meet her soulmate. It was surprising to her that the day has actually come, for she was now in her late twenties, and she waited that long from the very beginning. Other had commonly found theirs in high school, and college. She eyed her soulmate watch on her wrist.

(Y/N) was bubbling with excitement. She always dreamed about finally meeting her soulmate and living a content life with true love. She was like many, never dating, or falling in love with anyone but her soulmate. (Y/N) gazed through the streets of downtown within a city bus, going to the heart of the city to greet her friend at Chatime for her favourite bubble tea. And of course, to meet her soulmate. (B/F/N) was ecstatic about your meet up ever since the one month mark. But she has five more months until she finally meets hers. Your (E/C) orbs scanned the streets and buildings that rushed by, fascinated by your beautiful city although you've been her many times before. You gazed down at your clock, there were many minutes left.

The nervousness of meeting your soulmate was finally getting to you. The thoughts crept up and coursed through your veins as doubt began to cross your mind.

What if the timing stopped, but theirs didn't? What if you were their soulmate and they weren't yours?

Looking around at your scenery, you've realized you have gotten off at the wrong stop. You let a sigh and started walking to your actual destination. It was a few blocks down and a street to the left, so it didn't bother you that much. And you really did need the exercise after a ten hour binge watching of (F/S) the other day.

'Yo (B/F/N), I'm gonna be a bit late, soulmate jitters are getting to me and I got off at the wrong stop, sorry dude!' You typed into your phone, as you wandered down the street to your rendezvous.

'That's okay, u want the roasted Thai milk tea right?' You got a text back almost immediately.

'Yeah than' Someone bumped into you, causing you to accidentally send the message.

"Sorry!" The girl apologized. She then stopped, and looked down at her wrist. You can see that the numbers have completely reached zero, and that it itched her red skin. "My soulmate?" She asked, tucking a strand of her hair behind her head.

You looked down at your own clock.

And she must've noticed it too when her eyes widened, and tear threatened to spill from her eyes. She looked at you sadly, as drops began to file down one by one, endlessly like a waterfall.

"I'm so sorry." You tried to express your sympathy but you were in quiet the rush to meet your soulmate.

"It's o-okay." She stammered between sniffles as she rubbed her depressed blue eyes. "Things like this is normal yo-you know? An-and I can't bel-believe I wore this d-dress trying to impress them.."

"Im so sorry, you look very pretty though." You smiled warmly at her, and wiped away her tears with your hand.

"Now who w-would love m-me?" The girl stammered in barely a whisper.

"You can love anyone, darling. You are amazing, do not belittle yourself. Maybe you have someone waiting for you.." You tried your best to comfort her.

"I'm f-fine." She said, wiping away the last of her tears. "Thank you though."

She walked away, and you watched her, the splendid floral dress trailing behind her. She rubbed her eyes still, trying to get rid of the irritation from the tears. And what she failed to notice was that the pedestrian sign turned red when she first stepped onto the road. And what she failed to notice was the red light that turned green. And what she failed to notice was the car, in a rush, running straight into her.

There was so much blood. It made you want to vomit. And the worst part happened, your arm tingled, and you've noticed your clock read;
