Dear Diary,

Today was the most blissful day of my  entire life ! In all the eight months of my life, no day has been this perfect and entertaining. 

To start with, the breakfast today was out of this world. This new pedigree was so much better than the previous one and Mom just elevated it hundred fold by adding delicious chicken stock.

Today everyone was at home due to some Coronavirus lockdown. Wherever I went, Damini followed  me and tried to sit on my back. She is seven years old and still can't differentiate between a dog and a horse. Wait no, not a dog, it reduces class. I'm a roadacion :).

Luckily, Mom scolded her when she caught her red-handed pulling my tail. I was ecstatic and deliberately went near her so that she could feel her failure. It was a hell lot of fun. 

In the afternoon, when Tanvi took me out to do my business, I spotted a Bumblebee and chased after it. The only thing that I can't tolerate is the irritating buzzing sound of a Bumblebee. 

Tanvi rushed after me and tried to take me back inside, but once Pluto decides to go after something, he does not leave till the job is finished. 

And the job was done in a matter of minutes, such was my skill. But unfortunately Tanvi prevented me from tasting the sweet taste of victory, by forcing the bee right out of my mouth as soon as it entered it. She held me by my collar and took me inside. 

Then, she started lecturing me on why I shouldn't swallow bees. The concern in her eyes made me feel very guilty. She cares for me so much. So, for her sake, I will try to quit eating  Bumblebees.

But the evening was the best part of the day. All of us - Mom, Dad, Damini and Tanvi played ball in the front lawn. The feeling of the damp grass beneath my paws and the sound of dizzy laughter electrified me, and I charged after Damini. 

She tried to run fast, but I was obviously quicker. As soon as I bit her slipper, she went rolling on her the ground but I went with her as that brat had caught hold of my tail. To my surprise when she fell, instead of crying, Damini laughed heartily.  She is growing up very quickly.

Whatever this Coronavirus lockdown is, I wish it continues for a long time. Wherever I go everyone scratches my ears and massages my head. They cuddle me and give me treats. 

It has brought my family closer to me and I swear my tail has never been so high !
