Anyway, I've shrunk! Here's why!

So, I've been back in school for 3 days now, after being absent for 2 weeks.

I was on my way downstairs for break when a new teacher called me out and asked me to help her with something. That thing turned out to be an open window in class 8 that she wanted me to close. I did so, of course, and we started a small conversation

"So, you are the new middle school teacher, ma'am?" I asked. The old one, Ms.Lenny, left early January. Why they waited so long to get a new one was beyond my comprehension.

"Why, yes! I teach 8, 9, and 10." She replied. "Which class are you in?"

"Oh, I'm an 11th grader." I said.

Boy, I saw her stagger back in shock! I SWEAR! SHE ACTUALLY LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS LYING!

"O-oh! Pardon me, I thought you were a 7th grader!!!"

AND THAT'S HOW MY SELF ESTEEM WENT SO DOWN I FELT MYSELF SHRINK DOWN FROM 4"11 TO 4"8.
