A bit of encouragement
This morning as I was folding towels, this song came to mind, and I'm convinced that God gave this to me. We're seeing all sorts of craziness as people are running around, scared of this COVID-19 coronavirus and feeling like things are spinning out of control. Well, let me just share the lyrics to the chorus. This is from "Lord of the Jungle" by Stephen Curtis Chapman.
What I see
Is telling me this world's gone crazy
But what is real
Says God's still on his throne
What I need
Is to remember one thing
That the Lord of the gentle breeze
Is the Lord of the rough and tumble
He is the King of the jungle!
Now, if that doesn't make you stop and reevaluate things, I don't know what else will. No matter what is happening around us, we know that God always has been, always is, and always will be the one in control of it all. The only action we can take is trusting Him, no matter what's going on. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, Lord.
So I guess what I'm going to do with this is turn it into a kind of tag. If you find this song encouraging, repost it (on any social media platform: here in a book, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, etc.) and tag at least three (if not more) people who you feel need this encouragement right now.
So here are my people.

Here's the link for the video, because I know (for me, at least,) it can be tricky to get heading videos to open in actual YouTube or even to just be able to find the share button to get the link.
