Boot camp yay. Note the sarcasm. My dad was a war veteran with many awards. He wants me to follow in his footsteps but I see myself more as a scientist not an army general. Oh well he doesn't care about what I think.

"Can you not hold up the line?!" A blonde girl in a braid said. "Calm your shit, Astrid we have enough time." said a guy orrr...girl with long hair and a wierd beanie. "Im soo sorry I'll move or better yet I'll be your slave or I can clean your shoes or um- " my rant was cut short because she spoke up.

"Eh eh eh shush look just move and we'll be good ok? ok."

She was heading towards the main building when I heard the word

DRAGONS!!! what? Dragons aren't real. Are they some sort of rival camp or....Oh my gosh oh my gosh! A dragon and it flies annndd its headed my way!!!! "Aaaahhhhhhh!" I ran into the woods trees blurred pass me until I qas on the ground. I think I hit a tree.

"Hey new meat?!? Are you ok?! Where is he?He was kinda cute in a dorky nerdy sort of way. Cutest guy here so far. Heyy kid?!?!"

"Right here! Im fine really.." I said getting out of a nearby bush. "What did you hear?" she said anxiously.

"Well am I really the cutest guy in all camp?" I said while smirking. I just received a punch on my shoulder.  "Ow what was that for?!" I said a bit confused I thought she liked me?! "That was for worrying me- er I mean everyone. My name's Astrid whats your name?"

"Im- my name is Hiccup, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third" Astrid looked at me and blurted out something that only one of us would know. "Are you a viking descendant?! Omg I am tooo. The only other ones I know are Ruffnut and Tuffnut umm I mean Ricky and Tiffany."

We headed back to camp but kept talking about each other.  She liked axe throwing and she said that this camp had real, moving, flesh and bone dragons...

The next day at breakfast she started yelling my name to go sit at her table. At the table were 5 people.  A crazy haired redhead, blonde twins, a guy with a big nose, and Astrid.  "Hey Astrid" I said a bit nervous. I had a bubbly feeling in my stomach. I suddenly didn't feel hungry, I sat next to the redhead girl she leaned in and whispered in my ear. "Astrid has a wee little crush on ye so yu better not mess it up. Ok?" I nodded my head in agreement. Gosh, I never knew this would've happened. Now im smiling like a goof.

2 days later

Today we were starting dragon training.  Oh joy! Note extreme amount of sarcasm. Alright well what we had to do was kill it or make it retreat into the cage but if you killed it you got more pionts and girl points ;) .

Atrid POV

Hiccup was walking adorkably into the arena while the boys kept calling him wimp and dorkus. Out of all the dragons I hope he didn't get the Deadly Nightfury. 4 out of 5 people that have confronted it were completely roasted the other one lost half his body. Trust me it was not pretty.

Hiccup chose his weapon, a dagger, the only weapon light enough for him to easily carry around without it having it topple him over. He was now alone in the arena waiting for the Buff man to open the big wooden doors. It was dead silent. No one made a sound. waiting. He finally opened the door and ran out of the arena. Hiccup was standing there in a violent pose. What happened to the dragon? Out of no where a screech so loud it caused u pain everywhere was heard and out pounced the Deadly Nightfury.... Hiccup! I felt my knees get week. I saw Hiccup's eyes get wide with fear.

"Hiccup RUN!!!" I yelled. He just stood there, paralized with fear. I ran scared as hell but I ran Merida and Tuffnut held me back. "LET GOOO!!!!!" I yelled screaming at the top of my lungs.

Hiccup put his hand out towards the dragon and closed his eyes. The dagger was on the floor. "HICCUP!THE DAGGER...THE DAGGggeerrr..." I said I couldn't take the fear anymore I just fell and bawled my eyes out. Goodbye Hiccup...

HICCUP POV

I heard Astrid yelling but I had to let the dragon know I wasnt a threat. I mean if I was in that cage I would be infuriated too. I held my hand out like I did with the big dogs at home. I expected my hand to be taken off but instead I felt a rough scaly surface moving up and down it was the snout of the infamous nightfury.  The nightfury gave me a toothless smile and went back into the cage. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

As I walked out I was attacked by...Astrid? ...and she was hugging me. She quickly composed herself and socked me! HARD.

"That was for scaring me to death..."she said. Then out of the blue she grabbed my collar and pulled me into a kiss. "And that was for coming out alive"

I was baffled and told her something which made any angered expression on her face dissappear.

Astrid POV

"I did it all to impress you." I looked at him and said something I have never said to any other guy. "Hiccup you didn't have to impress me you had me since day one."
