I was sitting on a stool at my front porch today, drinking hot coco when I suddenly decided to pick up my phone, log into wattpad, and search through my feed. I didn't know what I was looking for at that moment but I was just so bored out of my wits that I decided a good wattpad story was the best remedy at the moment.

I had gone half way through the book when I decided to look through the authors page, maybe I could pick up a few tips or two. She was just that amazing. I wanted to know the trick behind her writing, not just that, the trick behind amount of response she got on her profile on a daily basis. Then it hit me.

Before I go into what switch had been turned on in my brain, I would like to point out that I've lurked on several authors pages, those with over the normal amount of reads who get absolutely no feedback. Now don't quote me wrong. I'm not talking about getting comments on their book or even getting dedications and votes spamming. I'm talking about the amount of people who drop on their profiles and say hi, and not just because the writer hasn't updated in a while.

......so cinder what did click in your mind?

It's simple. She knew her crowd. She was able to interact with her crowd and her crowd with her. Her profile was always dropping with the happiest atmosphere of wattpaders coming to say "hello!". But then I looked at my profile, and cue the silence.....

I quickly wanted to do something about that silence. I wasn't writing any books at the moment (since I'm still at the planning stage) but I needed to find a way to interact with my crowd. And seeing I had hit 300 not too long ago, it would be the right time to seize the day.

It was like I had been struck my lightening, and I was suddenly thinking as fast as flash would run in a minute. I immediately prepared a way to get a cover, as they say, "When there is a will, there is a way"

And now, here I am. My latest way to interact with my crowd and let the wattpad community know me for me. Random Rendezvous.
