Solemnly lonely

Screaming pain

Drowning sea of thoughts
None that really matter
Like an insect in a web, caught

Shouldering more judgement
Is it the world that's corrupt?
Or is it just my figment?

In a world so dark

The time is right
The moment long gone

A time to shine

Like the wings of an angel
Took flight for the first
The air around twinkled
With glee, about to burst

And as I soared to the clouds
They tried to block me
But nothing could shroud
The restlessness inside me

And finally the destination
Was seen before my eyes
A hint of determination
Broke through my wall of ice
