NEO'S POV

I was flying through the air holding onto my umbrella for dear life thank god Roman tossed me it before I hit the ground, I had my eyes screwed tightly closed I knew that I shouldn't look down no matter what, otherwise I'd probably fall to my death.

I felt crushed, I tried so hard to save my (Y/N) I poured nearly all of my aura into the wound trying to save him... but he became some kind of creature, he killed Cinder and Mercury as well as those White Fang soldiers I wouldn't have cared about that I just wanted him to come back to me.

I heard a loud explosion behind me and I turned my head to look at what was happening, I saw smoke rising up high into the sky and a swathe of burning destruction which strange blue orbs floating around the charred forest, amidst it all I saw that demonic fox looking right at me and it seemed to be following me and my unplanned flight.

I looked over and saw the city coming up fast, this would get really, really bad if that fox gets into the city, especially with those Atlas ships flying above the city.

It would be a massacre...

But I couldn't control where I fly to, I could only ride the wind until I hit the ground and I was scared of when that happened, I was worried that (Y/N) wouldn't recognise me or worse try and attack me when he caught up to me.

Suddenly I felt another strong gust of wind lift me higher and I heard a loud screech, I snapped my head towards the sound and saw a huge Nevermore coming right towards me with it's mouth open, I barely had the strength to hold onto my umbrella I couldn't fight this thing and I couldn't escape with my powers, all I could do was close my eyes and get ready to feel the pain.

Suddenly I heard something zoom past me and I felt strong heat on my skin, I heard the Nevermore screech in pain making me open my eyes to see the Grimm fall from the sky covered in flames, I looked down confused and saw the fox (Y/N) glaring at the falling Nevermore and lashing it's tails before suddenly turning it's gaze back to me.

(D-did he just save me?)

The fox then continued to chase after me leaving a trail of blackened trees and charred earth behind it, I saw the Bullhead that everyone was on get further and further away as the wind carried me away towards the city, if I don't do something soon then the Fire Fox will do to the city what it did to the forest.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

While the Fire Fox chased after Neo RWBY, JNPR and Torchwick contacted Beacon academy to get some back up, they were currently on a video call with professor Ozpin explaining the situation.

"So mr (L/N) turned into the Firefox again? This is most troubling..." Ozpin said as he sipped his coffee.

"A-again? Has this happened before?" Blake asked sounding very nervous and unsure, she knew that they had to stop the fox from burning the city but it was still their friend...

"Yes it did miss Belladonna, it happened once when he was much younger, and we had been trying to help him gain control of it before all of this happened" Glynda said as she kept her eyes on the raging inferno that was consuming the Emerald Forest.

"After the first time occured his mother got in touch with us, we had been speaking with him about that time and trying to figure out the limits of his powers, we taught him to defend himself and began to attempt to help him gain control of hid power and now we will have to deal with this before it get's too hot" Ozpin said over the screen.

"What should we do? How do we fix this?!" Ruby asked trying so hard not to cry, she really didn't want to lose her and Yang's childhood friend.

"Maybe that girl can help! What was her name... Neo?" Jaune said.

"Her name is Neopolitan" Roman said making everyone look to him.

"She and that young man were close... maybe if we brought her somwhere isolated, somewhere away from people we could try to contain him and try to get through to him!" Glynda said as she pulled out her scroll and began to type into it.

"Then we'd best hurry up and retrieve her, before she gets over the outskirts of the city, miss Schnee I would like you to use your glyphs to-" Ozpin said before an emergency broadcast interrupted him, all the students scrolls pinged with the emergency broadcast.

"I think we might be a little late..." Ren said as they all opened their scrolls, an image of Lisa Lavender appeared she had a worried look on her face as she read out the report.

"This is Lisa Lavender reporting from the Vale broadcasting tower, we have recieved word that a creature unlike any that had been seen before has been destroying a massive swathe of the Emerald forest, hold on... we have just gotten word that one of our camera drones has a visual on the creature, we are now broadcasting the feed live but I must warn you, the image is somewhat frightening..." Lisa said before the feed cut out and the video showed the Firefox running through the woods leaving scorched earth behind, the fox roared again and flung fireballs up into the sky killing a Nevermore before running off again towards the town, the camera panned out wide before refocusing on Neo as she clung to her umbrella as the wind carried her away.

"In a shocking turn of events a young woman appears to be flying through the sky on a pink umbrella, and it seems that the monsterus fox is following her flight into the city, what is her connection to this possible new species of Grimm? Is she leading this creature here and for what purpose? We'll have more when we return..." Lisa said before she stopped talking and the feed cut back to the fox that wasn't far from the outskirts of the city.

"We've got to do this fast! Weiss use your glyphs to run out there and grab her before she gets too far away, then we'll follow the plan and take her far away from the city" Ruby said in a serious voice, Weiss nodded her head and went to the open door of the Bullhead measuring the distance between her and Neo.

"I don't think I can reach her, she's too far away!" Weiss said, the others thought about it until Glynda came forwards.

"Miss Schnee, I can use my powers to throw you towards her, then you use your glyphs to reach her and we will bring her to an uninhabited area where we can trap him" Glynda said in a no nonsense tone as she brought out her riding crop.

"Sounds like a plan, let's do this quickly!" Yang said as she looked out to the burning forest, it has small blue will-o-the-wisps floating through the charred trees fanning the flames, she looked ahead to see her friend turned monster burst through the treeline mere feet away from Vale.

Glynda surrounded Weiss in a purple aura and levitated her outside of the Bullhead before swishing her crop towards where the girl was flying, and Weiss was catapulted away towards Neo.

WEISS'S POV

Miss Goodwitch picked me up with her semblance and levitated me outside of the bullhead, I kept my focus on Neo trying my best not to look down and get nervous about the height she then swished her crop towards Neo and I was flung through the air, I felt the wind rush past me and blow my hair around violently as I kept myself braced against the force of the air, I pointed Myternaster towards Neo and focused my aura towards her closing my eyes to carve the glyphs into the air to make a path towards her.

I set up a trail of white glyphs towards her and ran as fast as I could while still making new ones, I had made it about halfway when fireballs flew past me into the clouds some barely missing me by an inch! Time seemed to slow as I looked down and saw that demonic fox sending a spine tingling glare towards me and lashed it's tails towards me launching more fireballs at me.

The fox let out a roar and threw more fireballs from it's tail towards me, I couldn't let myself get distracted or I would fall to my death! I turned back to Neo as she flew through the air and continued to run towards her using my glyphs.

I ran across the path of glyphs having to dodge or jump away from incoming fireballs until I reached Neo, I grabbed her and held her close with one arm while having to use Myrtenaster to make more glyphs to get back to the Bullhead, she looked between me and the Firefox below us that seemed to be tensing himself up.

"Uh oh! Time to go!!" I said rushing across the glyphs towards the Bullhead, suddenly I heard something like an impact and looked down, to my shock the Firefox was rushing right towards me with it's paws extanded and it's fiery maw open!

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Weiss shrieked in fear as the blazing fox came closer with it's mouth open in a snarl, she quickly formed another glyph and sped away as it's fiery jaws snapped closed where she just stood, the fox fell back down to the ground as Weiss and Neo reached the airship where Weiss collapsed in exhaustion as the adrenaline from her near death experience quelled down.

"Weiss! Are you okay?!" Ruby asked in worry as everyone else gathered close to the heiress while Glynda ushered Neo away beside Roman.

"I-I'm fine, that was terrifying! He almost ate me and Neo!" Weiss exclaimed as she took heavy breaths, the others sighed in relief until they heard the loud roar resound through the burning forest signalling that the Firefox had regained it's feet.

"We need to move, NOW!" Glynda said in a slightly panicked voice, the Bullhead did a sharp U turn that almost threw everyone over and it activated it's booster jets to fly away towards the ruined city of Mountain Glenn.

Suddenly fireballs flew past the ship as it flew away from the city towards the mountains followed closely by the Fire Fox as it snarled and snapped towards the air, flinging fire at the retreating airship.

Suddenly a loud explosion made the fox stop and look to the air, above it was the Atlesian fleet all training their guns on the fox and shooting at it, the Fire fox growled in annoyance and attempted to continue it's pursuit of the air ship that had Neo on board.

"Ironwood, what the hell are you doing?!" Glynda yelled into her scroll as an image of General Ironwood looked at her impassively.

"My job Glynda, my fleet will destroy this new species of Grimm and protect the people of the city" Ironwood said in a snappy fashion as he sent commands to the fleet.

"James, that's not a Grimm! It's one of our students!" Ozpin said harshly as he appeared in the call.

"What! How can that be?!" Ironwood said in panic.

"He was sent on a mission today and had no choice but to use his semblence, it went out of control due to the pain and bloodloss..." Pyrrha said beside Glynda, the other students and Neo gathered close to listen in to what Ironwood said.

"Student or not, he is a clear threat to the people of Vale! I'm sorry but I have no choice but to have him put down..." Ironwood said, making the other students and Neo gasp in shock.

"You can't! it's not his fault!" Ruby said angrily.

"Yeah! It only happened because he was hurt by some woman trying to save his girlfriend!" Yang said as her eyes turned red.

"I'm sorry but my decision is final! it is by the order of the council of Vale, all I can say is that we will end this quickly" Ironwood said.

"We will also be required to take Roman Torchwick and his accomplice into custody until this threat is resolved, prepare to be boarded" Ironwood as he cut off the transmission leaving only Glynda and Ozpin in the chat.

"Ozpin you cannot allow him to do this!" Glynda said in rage as the Atlesian air fleet came closer to the small ship and the Fire Fox.

"Something tells me I won't have to do anything!" Ozpin said as his eyes widened as he looked out of the large window in his office.

Glynda ran to the opened door of the ship and looked at the scene before her, the airships were laying down a barrage of gunfire on the Fire Fox as it threw it's own flames towards the smaller vessels approaching the bullhead, sending them down to the ground in flaming wrecks.

The fox then pulled it's tails towards it's mouth and fed flames into it's maw preparing to fire that flaming beam at the larger ships, as it was charging it's attack the fleet dropped a small army of warbots onto the ground as well as the larger Atlesian Paladins.

The robots raised their guns towards the Fire fox but they were too late...

The focused flaming energy shrunk and concentrated in the fox's jaws and was fired as a bright beam of burning energy, the fox moved it's head from left to right making the beam scythe through the massive ships and cause three of them to begin to fall from the sky.

"We're hit! We're going down! All hands evacuate immediately!!" came the worried voices of the three ships captains over the radio as the ships fell, explosions coming as the parts broke away and smaller shuttles evacuated the personel from the larger ships.

The Atlesian robots fired their rifles at the Fire Fox but it's tails deflected the bullets before lashing flames towards the robots and melting some from the heat, the rest of the Knights continued to shoot at the fox some bullets landing hits on his soft fur and causing molten blood to ooze out.

The fox then launched more fire at the robots it then ran towards the Paladins and tore them apart with it's teeth and claws, it then gathered the flames around it's body and made a huge firestorm erupt around it like a flaming twister, destroying the Knights and the surrounding forest.

The remaining flagship unleashed a bombardment on the area where the fox was turning the forest into a cratered mess, the fox leaped out of the path of the shells and panted as more molten blood ran down it's body.

The fox's eyes focused on the ship and it's fur blazed brighter with it's rage, it tensed it's back legs and leaped towards the airship with an enraged roar as fire flew from it's body.

The fox's clawed paws dug into the hull of the ship the heat making the metal melt slightly as it climbed up the rest of the way, the fox stood on top of the airship facing the bridge and the scared people within.

The doors opened and General Ironwood came out accompanied by advanced Atlesian Knights that had their guns trained on the large flaming fox.

(Y/N)'S POV INSIDE HIS HEAD

I watched as the Fire fox glared at the man with the Atlas military uniform and his two robot guards, I had to watch as Fire Fox destroyed the White Fang and those people that tried to kill me and Neo but I wasn't happy when I saw him try and go after Neo, as well as him destroying the Atlas fleet that would get me in a lot of trouble later!

I looked around in the space before I saw the human image of fire Fox come to me, it looked at me with a smug smirk showing it's fangs.

"Well, well, well... look who's soul finally awoke!" he said in a mocking voice, his eyes glaring holes into me as I gazed back.

"What are you doing?! Your going to completely destroy everything!" I said in anger, I remembered the deal and he wasn't upholding it!

"I'm changing the deal! You've taken too long in trying to absorb me into your soul, and now I will take over this body in the name of my master!" Fire Fox said in a victorious way.

"Over my dead body!" I yelled as i manifested a spirit version of (W/N) into my hands and got ready to fight for control.

"Hahahahah! That was the point!" Fire Fox said as he gathered flames into his hands, I knew that he was masterful with fire so I'd have to be careful, but I also knew that even though he was still quite powerful he was also vulnerable in the spirit world.

We charged towards each other and fought fiercely, I slashed him a few times and he dodged them with ease as I tried my best to dodge the flames he threw at me, however I didn't manage to avoid all of them and got some burns on my body.

"Your so weak... I don't understand how my master thought you'd be worthy of his blessing!" The Fire Fox said in a disgusted voice as he glared at me.

I stood back up thinking of Neo, Yang and everyone else I knew, I looked at Fire Fox with determination, i would beat him and take control!

"Then I guess it's do or die time!" I yelled into the ether as we charged each other again.

THIRD PERSON'S POV OUTSIDE

Meanwhile as the mental battle took place within the currently foxified (Y/N) the Fire Fox continued it's flaming rampage, it lashed it's tails and destroyed the two robots before turning it's focus on Ironwood with a menacing growl.

Ironwood began to run towards the flaming fox with a loud yell as the fox body sat still lazily tossing fire towards the man, a wave of flames washed over his body and the fox thought that it's work was done however Ironwood came out the other side of the flames with most of his uniform burned away, his cybernetic arm and shoulder fully on display as he swung a punch at the fox connecting with it's jaw and surprising it greatly.

Ironwood pulled a modified pistol from his belt and took shots ath the large fox trying to get a head shot but only managing to hit it's lashing tails or it's body, the fox howled in pain as more of it's molten blood hit the ship and melted into the hull leaving smoking holes in the ship, the fox collapsed still glaring hatefully at Ironwood.

"I know that your one of Ozpin's students, but if you cannot control that beast inside you then your a bigger threat to the people of Vale than the Grimm, I'm sorry but you must be eliminated!" he said in a professional tone as he aimed his pistol at the fox's head ready to deliver the killing shot.

Suddenly his gun was shot out of his hand causing him to look around in surprise, Ruby sat on the edge of the bullhead with Crescent Rose unfurled into a sniper mode the barrel of the gun smoking from the shot, the Bullhead flew closer and the students and Glynda jumped off and rushed to protect (Y/N).

Team RWBY, JNPR and Glynda stood in front of Ironwood with intense glares on their faces while Neo and Roman ran to the downed fox, Neo looked at the bleeding fox with worry she didn't know what to do to help she'd used most of her aura to try and heal (Y/N)'s wound.

"Children, move out of the way! That thing must be dealt with before it can regain it's strength!" Ironwood shouted in a commanding voice, the students didn't even flinch they were too focused on protecting their friend.

"No! We're not moving!" Ruby said loudly.

"Yeah! We're not letting you kill our friend!" Yang said as her eyes turned red and her hair blazed bright.

The other students all agreed and got into combat stance, ready to defend their friend from the general of Atlas military.

"Glynda, control your students! We have to destroy that thing before it's too late" Ironwood said trying to reason with Glynda.

"No James! We will not allow you to harm mr (L/N) anymore than you already have!" Glynda said in a no nonsense tone of voice, she aimed her riding crop at Ironwood preparing to use her aura to throw him off the ship if need be, she would not allow him to kill such a promising student because of the councils ignorance!

"Then I have no choice but to remove you all, and finish this once and for all!" Ironwood said as he rushed at the young hunters and huntresses, the students engaged him as best as they could while Glynda gave assistance wherever she could.

The doors to the ship opened and more Atlas robots marched out to assist Ironwood against the students, Roman looked back and saw the oncoming robots he looked between Neo and the fox and the students fighting the Atlas forces, every instinct in his body told him to cut his losses and run but seeing Neo with the foxified (Y/N) made him do something he'd never done before, he threw himself into a seemingly hopeless battle.

"Neo! Try and wake your boyfriend up, then we'll get out of here!" he said as he opened his cane and took shots at the robots, Neo nodded her head and looked back to the downed fox that was growling and looking towards Ironwood with hatred in it's eyes.

Neo tentatively reached out to the fox hoping to soothe it, she was worried about the heat radiating from the fox's fur and about getting burned from the heat.

She pushed down her fear and reached out to the fox's body gently laying her hand on the large fox's muzzle, suddenly her eyes glowed orange and she slumped forwards her head landing on the fox's body, she seemed asleep as the fox calmed slightly from her touch.

INSIDE (Y/N)'S HEAD NEO'S POV

I suddenly flashed into being in a dark place, I saw shapes move slightly in the darkness and felt a familiar prescence close by... I ran through the darkness until I heard the sound of a fight.

I ran towards the sounds and saw my (Y/N) fighting a humanoid fox monster, I got ready to help (Y/N) but I saw that my umbrella wasn't with me!

I looked back to see him get burned badly from one of his fireballs, he returned the attack with a massive slash across the fox's chest making glowing blood leak from the wound, the fox growled and leaped at him pinning him to the ground with it's clawed hands.

"Ha, mortal! You've failed to defeat me, once I destroy your pathetic soul I will take over your body and hunt the people of this world like game!" the fox human said with a malicious smile, it raised it's hand to finish him off and I knew I had to help even if I did not have a weapon!

I jumped out of my cover and ran towards the fox monster landing a kick in it's face, the fox was stunned temporarily allowing (Y/N) to kick the demon off of him and stand back up leaning on his sword as he breathed heavily.

"N-Neo?! How did you get here!?" (Y/N) exclaimed loudly, with worry in his voice.

I reached into my pocket for my pen and notepad but couldn't find it, so I signed to him asking what was happening luckily he had taken some lessons in sign language so he could understand me.

"That thing is trying to take over my body, if it succeeds I'll die and it'll destroy most of Vale! I can't let that happen Neo, I won't let that happen!" he said with determination in his voice.

I nodded my head at him reaching for my weapon only to once again find it missing, I stomped my foot in frustration I couldn't let him fight that monster alone!

"Stay back Neo, I'll fight it and protect you I promise..." he said before giving me a very passionate kiss, the fox monsters roar interrupted our moment and he ran off to fight it, I felt pathetic all I could do was watch as my boyfriend fought a powerful fox monster when I wanted so badly to fight with him.

"You can't protect that girl forever (Y/N)... I will eventually get her, and I'll make her my bitch before I kill her!" the fox demon shouted in a vulgar voice, I felt myself shake with anger and disgust at those words, there was no way I'd let that happen!

I felt my aura come back enough for me to fight but I still needed a weapon!

"A hunter needs their weapon..." came a strong voice behind me, I spun around fast and saw a very tall muscular man wearing animal furs and a large deer skull with an impressive set of antlers over his head standing before me and looking right into my soul, the man seemed ghostly white and I could see through him slightly.

The man took a step forwards and opened his hand out towards me as a soft amber light grew from his outstretched hand, from the light a very ornate looking spear took shape the shaft was decorated with creeping ivy vines and the teeth and claws of different animals, the blade looked to be made of steel and had glowing runes etched into it and seemed jagged like a set of fangs.

"It is not the weapon you normally use... but a true hunter will adapt!" the man said in a commanding voice.

The spear floated towards me and seemed to wait for me to take it, I hesitantly reached for the spear but stopped just short of touching it, suddenly I heard (Y/N) yell in pain behind me as the damned fox demon cackled evilly, the sound made up my mind and steeled my resolve.

I grabbed onto the spear and felt power rush through my being, a soft pink and brown glow enveloped me as I aimed the spear towards the fox demon and charged, I managed to get close and stab the blade deep into the fox's fur and flesh it howled in pain and fury and swung it's claws at me, I managed to use my semblence to get away from the hit and stab the demon again making it jump off of (Y/N) and slide back growling nastily at us both.

(Y/N) looked to me in surprise before looking back to the wounded fox demon, he saw the marking on the spear I used and understanding seemed to come making a grin come to his face.

"Okay babe, let's finish this and go home!" (Y/N) yelled as he brought up his sword ready to fight, I felt a smile come to my lips as I held the spear ready.

"You miserable, unworthy humans! How dare you wound me like this! Forget making her my bitch I'll just destroy you both here and now!" the fox-man screamed in rage as he stood up still bleeding from the wounds I caused it's angered eyes focusing on us both.

(Y/N) and I stood side by side and lunged towards the fox demon intending to finally slay it and go back to a good life...

(Y/N)'S POV

Neo and I charged at the wounded fox demon together I felt a surge of energy come when I noticed the spear Neo held in her hands, he hadn't given up on me and gave us the go ahead to slay this abomination!

We charged him together me slashing and blocking with the astral blade of my sword (W/N) while Neo jabbed and thrusts with the spear, we had scored several wounds to the fox man however he had also caused us some wounds that bled slightly.

Neo and I got into our stances and nodded to one another in silent recognition, we rushed the demon together hoping to finally end it as it grew weaker from blood loss.

I swung my sword and sliced it on the leg forcing it to kneel, Neo stabbed her spear into it's chest forcing it onto it's back, however it grabbed hold of the spear's blade and tried to force it backwards and away from it's body, I dismissed the astral sword and ran over to help Neo I grabbed onto the spears shaft and pushed with all my might the fox's grip seemed to be slowly failing as the spear tip dug further into his body.

"I-Impossible! You worthless mortal dregs, how could you beat me, a lord of the hunt!?" the fox cried out into the ether, suddenly I felt a surge of power and adrenaline come up inside me lending Neo and I the strength to finish this and finally with a thrust we pierced the evil fox's heart with the spear.

The Fire Fox's eyes opened wide in shock and pain as it's glowing blood leaked from it's mouth, it's eyes held a look of understanding as it's life ebbed and flickered before finally extinguishing, the heat from it's fur cooled and dissipated as the glowing blood pooled beneath it's body.

Suddenly the darkness surrounding us began to melt away revealing a deep, lust forest teeming with all kinds of wild game and predators from wolves to bears, herds of deer and elk with impressive looking antlers walked through the lush grasslands followed by cows and calves, wild boars snuffled through the undergrowth looking for food their large tusks glinting in the sunlight.

Neo and I looked around amazed at the beauty of the forest before we heard the sound of clapping coming from behind us.

We turned to find a familiar face looking to me with a look of triumph, his eyes glowed slightly beneath his deer skull helmet a toothy smile gracing his lips as he beheld us, Neo moved closer to me and watched the man with a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

He was sat upon a bloodstained alter, the pelts of fresh kills decorating the alter as well as some blood, a very ornate knife resting below the alter on the ground with fresh blood upon the blade.

"Congratulations hunters! You have both felled the great beast, I am quite impressed..." the man said as a pair of humanoid wolves came out of the thick vegetation and stood either side of the alter, they both growled submissively like trained hunting dogs as they looked to us with respect.

Neo looked back to me with wide eyes that showed a little fear, I placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder as the man stood up and walked past us and retrieved his spear from the dead fox demon, he walked over to us and stood in front of us with a toothy grin still plastered to his tanned face.

"Indeed, I am very impressed that you had both managed to slay such a powerful creature, I have no doubts now that you are worthy of my blessings (Y/N) (L/N) of Remnant!" he said in a jovial voice as he slapped my shoulder hard and letting out a loud laugh.

"And you young lady are definitely worthy of being bonded to my chosen hunter, such bravery, such skill, and the confidence all such amazing traits to pass onto your children" he said in a loud voice Neo blushed at the compliments but still held onto me with worry at the stranger, I let a small smile come to my face from his approving words.

I felt a tug on my clothes and looked down to see Neo signing to me asking me who this strange man is, I looked over to the man and he looked happy to introduce himself to my girlfriend.

"Hello my lady, I am Hircine, daedric prince of the hunt and the one who gave (Y/N) the powers he now wields" Hircine said in a proud voice as he hefted his spear over his shoulder.

Neo looked between me and Hircine in confusion, she would want an explanation right now.

"Well you see babe, back when I was a small child I was ambushed by some powerful Grimm, I had managed to take down a few with my weapon but I was heavily wounded during the fight and almost died..." I said trailing off at the last part, Neo laced her hand in mine urging me to continue.

"As I laid there bleeding out on the floor with the Grimm closing in for the kill I prayed for someone to give me the strength to fight back and stay alive, that was how I met Hircine here" I said indicating to the well muscled man in the deer skull helmet.

"Indeed, I saw that your potential could be great, I chose you as my marked hunter my champion on this world, once you mastered your implanted powers you would become the one to voice my will to your fellow monster hunters and lead a life of hunting and adventure" Hircine said as he reminisced on the memory.

"However... you seemed to be relaxing and taking too long in unlocking your powers, and so the hand had to be forced slightly allowing the fox to come out and for you to best it" Hircine said, I knew what he meant he had allowed the fox demon to go on a rampage to make me have no choice but to confront my inner demon.

Neo seemed to understand it too and looked a furious that this had happened, but she calmed down when I placed my hand on her back and gave her a reassuring smile.

"I know it sounds wrong Neo, but it had to be done, if I didn't battle the Fire Fox today it might have happened at a worse time, at least now it's over and I've proven that I'm capable of being his chosen champion" I said in a happy voice, Neo let a smile tug on the corners of her lips and she stood on her tip toes planting a loving kiss on my lips.

"And now it's time for your rewards my champion, for you (Y/N) (L/N) I grant you the power of the Fire Fox fully under your control" Hircine said as he raised his hand towards me, then he let loose a wave of flames that washed over my body yet didn't burn me instead they seemed to infuse me with a familiar power, only now it felt less unruly although it was still wild.

"As well as this ring, it will allow you to transform whenever you wish to, use it wisely..." Hircine said as a golden ring with the shape of a fox head materialised on my right ring finger, I could feel the magics hidden withing the shining metal and felt the powers take effect immediately.

"Thank you very much lord Hircine, I'm honoured to be entrusted with this gift" I said bowing in respect to the daedric prince.

"And now for your reward young lady..." Hircine said in an excited tone of voice, Neo looked a little unsure of what was going to happen and squeezed my hand for reassurance.

"For your part in the hunt I grant you the gift of becoming the second werefox alongside your beloved, you will both hunt together in life and death, both your souls eternally bound together" Hircine said as he raised his hand to Neo and washed the flames over her small body, she came out feeling slightly more powerful and also found a ring of her own on her finger making her smile, she made a bow of her own to Hircine as a smirk came to her cute lips.

"You can also consider those rings your wedding bands, to eternally bind you two together until the end of all things..." Hircine said with a chuckle as we both blushed.

Neo tugged on my clothes again and signed to me that she didn't understand what Hircine was saying.

"Basically Neo, when the time comes that we both die we will be reunited in Hircine's hunting grounds, to hunt truly impressive prey alongside him forever more" I said in a happy tone, I had learned as much as I could from Hircine when he granted me his blessing the first time and he had told me about his hunting grounds and how those high in his favour or bearing his blessings of lycanthropy or other were beasts would always have a place in his hunting grounds.

Neo's eyes widened and her mouth hung open in shock while Hircine laughed a little as his attending werewolves growled slightly as they waited for their lords command.

"Well I've granted you your gifts, now all I ask in return is that once a week you two offer unto me a pelt belonging to one of these creatures of Grimm, Beowolves or Ursa's are preferable but if you could get something from one of the more powerful Grimm... then I would be truely impressed" Hircine said in a no nonsense tone of voice, he was always serious about the method of his worship.

"Sure, sounds reasonable" I said with a big smile as Neo nodded her head rapidly and hugged herself close to me.

"But if your not worshipped in Remnant, then where shall we give you the pelts?" I asked in confusion, that just made Hircine smile at me knowingly.

"Simple! Just have your friends help you to build one!" Hircine said as he placed an image of the alter in mine and Neo's mind.

"Now before you both leave..." he said walking towards us and taking some of the glowing blood from the spear, he took his thumb and wiped some of the glowing blood onto mine and Neo's foreheads and cheeks, anointing us both as his champions.

"Now then it's time for you both to wake up..." Hircine said as the lush forest began to fade away and the real world came back to us, however what I did not expect to see when I woke up was that man aiming a gun towards me again.

BACK IN REMNANT THIRD PERSON'S POV

As the two lovers waged their battle in Hircine's hunting grounds teams RWBY, JNPR Glynda Goodwitch and Roman Torchwick did battle against the Atlas military and their general.

The students were all exhausted Ruby and Yang were trying to hold off Ironwood as Neo and (Y/N)'s bodies laid on the ship, Weiss and Blake were fighting a group of Atlas soldiers while team JNPR were fighting the robots which was very easy for Pyrrha since her polarity allowed her to deal with them easily.

Roman had gone inside the ship to try and shut down the robots and tip the battle in their favour, while Glynda used her telekinesis to protect her students from incoming bullets and blows.

"Get out of my way girls! Those two are far to dangerous to be left alone!" Ironwood yelled making Ruby cringe in fear, Yang however stood defiant her eyes still red and her hair a small inferno.

"Fuck you General!! We're not moving!" Yang screamed in rage, Ruby looked to her sister with approval, taking courage from her big sister and looking to Ironwood with an unhappy glare.

"Yeah, what my big sis said! We're not letting you kill out best friend!" Ruby said as she loaded another bullet into her sniper scythe.

Ironwood sighed and rushed the girls Yang leaped forwards and tried to punch him but he grabbed her arm and flipped her over his shoulder, Yang was slammed into the hard deck of the ship getting winded in the process she gasped for air as her hair blazed brighter.

"Yang!" Ruby yelled in concern for her sister, while she was distracted Ironwood rushed her and kicked her away over the edge of the ship!

However before she went over she slammed the blade of her scythe into the hull of the ship and hung in the air by her scythe, Ironwood walked over to the downed fox and the sleeping girl pulling another loaded pistol and taking aim at the fox's head.

"No!... Don't do it..." Yang gasped desperately, as she stood back up finally regaining her breath and running towards Ironwood with her fist raised and letting loose a loud yell, Ironwood turned his head to the yelling and saw Yang rushing him however what he didn't see was that Neo woke up and glared at the man holding a gun to her boyfriends head.

Before Yang could connect her punch Ironwood blocked her with his cybernetic hand and gave a strong punch to her stomach making her fall to her knees in pain, as Ironwood turned back to the two unconscious youths he was hit in the face with a solid object.

He stumbled back and saw Neo standing there with a deathly glare as the sharp point of her umbrella came out and she pointed it towards the general.

"Your Roman Torchwicks accomplice! Surrender yourself immediately and you'll be treated fairly... however he must still be put down" Ironwood said as me motioned to the fox that was now starting to glow slightly before bursting into flames.

The flames burned brightly before a now normal (Y/N) stood up amidst the flames and walked to stand beside Neo with a scowl on his face.

"Your not touching my girl old man!" (Y/N) said in a very pissed voice as he pulled Neo closer to his shirtless body making her blush bright red.

Iron wood looked at the two with a stoic face and got his cybernetic arm and gun ready, however the assembled students all stopped fighting and stared at the shirtless boy in shock, Ruby managed to get back onto the ship with some help from Glynda and her silver eyes widened at the sight of her best friend, and Yang managed to sit herself up and look to (Y/N) with surprise.

"(Y-Y/N)!?, Your okay!!" Ruby squealed in happiness and Yang just smiled still trying to regain her breath.

"Yeah, we're both fine Ruubes... thanks for the help" (Y/N) said as he leaned down and kissed the top of Neo's head making her face turn redder than Ruby's cape and hide behind her umbrella.

"Are you in a relationship with this criminal young man?!" Ironwood yelled in fury, making (Y/N) turn his glare back to him and heat seemed to come off his and Neo's bodies.

"And what if I am old man!?" (Y/N) yelled aggressively as the heat from his and Neo's bodies got worse, the general had a look of disgust on his face as he looked to the couple.

"Then I guess that the Vale councils verdict of you was true... your a clear threat to the peace and security of the city and must both be erased!" he said taking aim at Neo with his pistol.

A low threatening growl escaped (Y/N)'s throat making all the students look worried at their friend, the heat from the two lovers was becoming just as bad as Yang's when she was pissed!

"You just made a big mistake threatening my girl, old man!" (Y/N) said through clenched teeth as his eyes flashed (F/C) for a second, Neo looked to Ironwood with rage and her eyes flashed pink and brown.

The two hunched over and extended their arms as flames consumed their bodies as they shook like a pair of wet dogs, the flames burned away both of their clothes as their bodies grew more muscled and powerful, their arms elongated claws extending a few inches from their fingertips, their legs growing more muscular with claws growing from their toes.

On top of their heads a pair of fox ears sprouted and twitched in the wind, (Y/N)'s ears were (H/C) like his hair while Neo had one that was pink and one that was brown, growls came from the two as the flames turned into fur that also matched their hair colour, (Y/n) had pure (H/C) fur while Neo's was a mottled pink and brown with a few small speckles of white.

Finally after the fur covered everything but their still human faces which quickly morphed into those of foxes as nine long, soft fox tails burst from their lower backs and whipped through the air creating the familiar will-o-the-wisps.

The taller man fox that was (Y/N) let loose a loud roar as the transformation was completed, the smaller Neo fox couldn't make a sound but admired her new body with eyes that were full of amazement and wonder.

The other students were all looking at the sight in shock and amazement, they thought that their friend couldn't control his semblence!

"(Y-Y/N)...?" Yang asked as she looked to her and Ruby's childhood friend, standing back up on shaky legs.

The fox man glared at Ironwoot as his tails lashed through the air loudly, sending foxfire into the air, the shorter Neo fox also lashed her tails and got into a fighting stance with her claws ready to shred.

"Time to end this... for good" (Y/N) said in a growly voice as he and Neo got down on all fours and charged the general of Atlas military with flames coming off their tails and fur.
