I guess he's here now (part 1 because I'm tired and watching one weird rock)

Eyy this a little drabble using @ramenfoodles  characters. I hope I didn't butcher them too much!

"Come on, Liam. He's a good kid. He lost his mom, his dad, and his legs. Just come in and see him?"

Liam sighed. This is the fifth time Ivan has tried to sell him on this kid, that he knows literally nothing about, except for the fact that Ivan really wants to adopt him. Liam doesn't want kids, he and Ivan had already agreed on that after getting married. It's been years that they've had this agreement until Ivan got home late at night talking about a kid in a car crash.

One thing leads to another and now Ivan is trying to convince Liam to adopt this kid. Liam sighed.

"Okay, okay, okay. You've convinced me. I'll come to the hospital and meet this kid." Liam waved his hands in defeat. Ivan smiled and kissed him quickly.

"Thank you for giving him a chance, Liam. He really needs one."

And with that Liam got dressed in some socially acceptable clothes and they headed off to the hospital. They walked in, Liam gripping his Starbucks like his life depended upon it and made their way to the third floor.

Liam still couldn't believe Ivan got up this early every day. And took the stairs. All for what? Health? Screw that! If this is what health was Liam was going to die soon. Ivan leads the way to a room marked with the number: 473. He opened the door and knocked on the frame. He smiled softly so Liam decided to peek his head and see what was making his husband smile. What he saw was a kid, no younger than twelve, laying in a bed with disheveled brown hair and a few cuts on his face that seemed to be healing nicely. He was a little bruised but what do you expect from a car crash?

Liam swallowed, nervously stepping into the room. "You said this kid is paralyzed, right?"

Ivan nodded. The heart monitor's rhythmic beeping filled the room. Liam placed a hand on the ki-Jules'-knee. Ivan swatted away his hand and Liam looked up in question.

"It still freaks him out that he can't feel his legs. I just don't want to stress him out, you know?"

Liam nodded in understanding. Ivan took a seat by the bed, Liam guessed he came here a lot and spoke softly: "Hey Jules, how're you feeling?"

Jules stirred a bit and he looked over to Ivan. "Um... a little sore. Pretty tired." His voice was soft, almost muted, and a little hoarse from just waking up. He blue eyes looked a little sunken. It was a  shame, honestly. That shade of blue could have held so much joy, so much wonder... but they're not.

Liam hadn't even realized that they had continued their conversation, smiling and laughing together. Liam couldn't help but notice they way Jules' eyes crinkled slightly when laughing at something Ivan had said. The way Ivan's eyes seemed a little more alive when seeing Jules smile. Liam was almost already sold on the kid and he hadn't even talked to him yet.

Said kid's attention turned to him, his smile slowly fading.
