(Y/n) P.O.V
"L! I'm going to the candy store to pick up a few lollipops, want anything?" I holler at the raven haired man. I grab my coat off of the chair I was sitting on and put it on.
"Hm, can you grab me something strawberry flavored?" L replies, still staring at his glowing computer screen.
"Sure thing Sherlock." I call back, grabbing my keys and phone, heading out of HQ. The air is brisk and cool, making me shiver slightly as I step outside. Walking down to the parking lot, I search the lot for my (f/c) car. I unlock it from my keys, making a light flash, telling me where the car is. I open the door and start the engine, causing the car to make a soft hum. Grabbing the handle, I pull the door shut and drive out of the parking lot. Every time L and I run out of sweets, I have to drive 30 minutes to a candy shop called "Spencer's Sweets" to get them since Spencer's is the closest good quality store. I throw on my playlist and put it on shuffle. The first song comes on, I hum along to the beat as I drive down the highway.
~Time skip to Spencer's~
I push open the glass door, a little bell ringing as I walk in. A warm blast of air welcomes me, putting my shivering arms at ease. I look around the shop at all the cases of candy. I pick out a jar of various flavors of lollipops and a slice of cheesecake that screamed my name. I grabbed Ryuzaki a strawberry cake, a box of chocolates, and a bag of freshly baked cookies. I put the sweet collection on the counter for the cashier to check out. The cashier had long, wavy, brown hair and looked to be about 18. She had a name tag that said "Bri" on a blue and white uniform. She smiled and put the sweets into a bag.
"So, who's the other 4 people you're splitting this with?" She asked, trying not to laugh at the obnoxious amount of sweets.
"It's actually just for me and a friend." I reply, pulling out the money for the sweets. The cashier freezes for a second before starting to bag again. She points to the total on the cash register, making me give her the money.
"Have a good day!" I call out to the stunned worker, who softly waves, astonished by the amount of money I just blew on sweets. I chuckle, hopping back into my car.
~Time skip back to HQ~
I open the door to my sports car, grab the bags of sweets, shut the door, and lock it again. I push the door open with my back since my hands were full with bags. The detective turns around, looking back at me with my hands, full with sweets. He gives a light chuckle and goes to pick up a few of the bags.
"You got all those sweets?" L asks, almost drooling over the sugar filled foods.
"No, these are all just empty bags the lady gave me." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes at the raven haired man. He redirected the eye roll at me, cherry picking his sweets, then heading back to his seat. I laughed, grabbing a strawberry lollipop and sitting down in the chair next to the detective.
"Thanks for the sweets, I was having a sugar depletion." Ryuzaki says, popping a chocolate coated strawberry in his mouth.
"No problem Sherlock." I reply. As L types away on his laptop, I twirl my lollipop and get lost in my thoughts. He stops typing to get another chocolate covered strawberry, plopping it in his mouth then went back to his laptop. I bit down on the lollipop with a loud crunch and took the stick out, rolling it between my pointer and middle finger. I suck on the ball that was the lollipop. L leans forward and places his lips on mine. I freeze up, before slowly meeting his lips. I pull away, extremely confused.
"Well, that was quite interesting." Ryuzaki says monotonously, placing a finger to his lip.
"Um..what was that for?" I ask, blushing.
"Just....wanted to test if you replicated the same feeling inside." He says, no feeling in his voice like normal.
"Also thanks for the candy." L said, now back to typing away on her laptop.
"What candy, you already thanked me." I said, raising my eyebrow again.
"This candy." He said, sticking out his tongue to reveal my lollipop.
"RYUZAKI!"
