Dr.Lava was in an incident where she fell into a silo of warm oil, surprisingly she was not fried to death but her body temperature rose and stayed at 75°C.

She is kind and caring, doesn't like handshakes in fear that she will burn someone and never wears her lab coat, also she is never sick and we suspect if she is it will be fatal.

Now let's get onto the story (the next chapter will be the same story but in Portuguese).

Dr.Lava walked through the facility not caring if she was late to the meeting, she was already hot enough. When she was close to the door she saw Dr.L/N at the door.

Dr.Lava: "Y/n wait up!"

Y/N opened the door as Dr.Lava came up to them, Y/n handed Kate an ice pack and Kate put it in her shirt to cool her down. They walked in and sat down in the free chairs.

O5-12: "You're late, both of you"

Dr.Lava and You: "We know

O5-12: "Let's just get this done with"

You looked around the room and saw Bright, Konny, Iceberg and Gears.

Dr.Lava: "Yes lets please get this over and done with!" She said salty since she had to get out her ice bath to cool down.

O5-12: "Since the 6th of January SCP-096 was moved to Antarctica to prevent any chain-reaction containment breaches, Dr.Lava I know you are a-"

O5-12 was interrupted by an overexcited Dr.Lava.

Dr.Lava: "Omg thank you so much!"

O5-12 sighed as he continued.

O5-12: "The reasons your going is because I don't trust anyone else to look after them, also Y/N is going to make sure they behave as well"

You: "I wouldn't trust them either" You say sassily and snickering earning a fake offended look from Bright.

Dr.Lava was so happy, first from going to Antarctica and secondly because her favorite person was going, Y/N! Her eyes were shimmering with joy.

Dr.Bright: "Yo Kate you good?"

Dr.Lava: "I'm more than good! We are going to Antarctica! It's gonna be nice and cold!" She says laughing.

Your heart skipped a beat when Kate was laughing, it was so cute to you.

You: "When are we leaving?"

O5-12: "Tomorrow at 13 hours"

Kate squealed and was wearing the biggest smile in the world.

O5-12: "The meeting is over, you all have the rest of the day off to prepare and pack for tomorrow"

Everyone went to the cafeteria, It was the middle of summer so it was boiling in the foundation. Dr.Lava chose her normal seat under the air conditioner, you sat beside her sweating from the heat.

Dr.Lava: "I can't wait for tomorrow! Its gonna be a dream come true!"

You: "And we don't have to work today or at the time we are there! WOHO!"

Dr.Lava: "YES!" She says loudly earning a few looks but ignores it because she is too happy.

You laugh and Dr.Lava smiles at your laugh, "So adorable".

Everyone was on the plane in woolly thick clothes while Kate wore a long-sleeved shirt, a zip-up jumper and a pair of yoga pants with a swimsuit underneath.

Dr.Bright: "Are you going to swim in the snow?" Bright askes still unsure.

All Bright got for an answer was an 'Mhm'

"We are arriving, please put your seat belts on"

Everyone put their seat belts on and Dr.Lava was bouncing in her seat.

Konny: "Calm down Kate, you bouncing in your seat isn't going to get us there any faster"

The plane lands and everyone grabs their bags and walk out, getting hit with the cold air, everyone was freezing, luckily Dr.Iceberg got to stay at the foundation, I think they were scared he'd freeze. Dr.Lava was emitting steam which she liked.

She ran around in the snow melting it underneath her.

Everyone went inside and Dr.Lava joined soon after.

Time skip!

Everyone was in the facility at 096's cell, Konny was taking photos while the rest of them worked. Dr.Lava went next to Bright who was working at the sensors.

Dr.Lava: "Hey Bright"

Dr.Bright: "Hm?"

Dr.Lava: "Destract Y/n for me, I'm going into the snow"

Bright nodded and while Y/n wasn't paying attention Bright gave them a bear hug, Kate grabbed Konny's hand and dragged him to the dorms.

Konny: "Woah! Kate, what's going on?"

Dr.Lava: "Can you record me in the snow?"

Konny: "Why?" He whined

Dr.Lava: "Please! You're the only good cameraman!"

Konny sighed in defeat and let out along fine.

Dr.Lava: "YAY! Thanks, Konny you're the best!"

Kate took off her clothes and she was just in a 2 piece swimsuit. She grabbed Konny's hand and took him outside, Konny already had his warm jackets on.

Konny and Kate were outside, with Kate swimming in the snow and laying in it and Konny recording, steam was coming of Kate because she was so hot. Kate went the platform and jumped into a pile of snow, what she didn't know is that there was a hole there.

Kate jumped and fell right through into the hole, a normal person would get stuck in the pile of snow and be able to push themselves out but Kate being Kate she slipped right into the hole.

She went into full panic mode, tears pricked her eyes and her body temperature dropped to 74ºC which for Kate is cold but not freezing. She tried to climb up but the ice just melted, She shouted and screamed for help but the snow was too dense.

With Kondraki

Kate had jumped in the fresh pilled up snow, it had been a minute and she still didn't come up, I panicked. I ran inside as fast as I could and tried to find everyone.

Konny: "Guys! Help! Dr.Lava is buried in snow!"

Everyone came running to me, Dr.L/N and Bright looked the most worried.

You: "What happened Konny!?" Y/n said on the edge of tears, she must be worried.

Konny: "She jumped into a pile of fresh snow and hasn't come back up"

Y/N went into action and sprinted off and came back with a snow pick, a rope and a jacket for herself.

She ran outside but not before telling Gears to start a warm bath.

We followed her outside and I pointed to the snow pile.

Y/n tied the rope around her waist and made a horseshoe looking thing and stabbed the pick in the center and put the rest of the rope around it.

She started digging with her hands, then all the fresh snow fell into the hole. It was about the hight of me x3 so not quite injury worthy.

You: "Kate! Grab my hand!"

Kate must have grabbed her hand because she shouted at us to pull her up which Bright and I did with ease. (Show off)

Time skip 3rd Person POV

They pulled up and rushed you both inside. Like you told Gears he prepared the bath, the bath was big enough for the two of you so you shared.

As Kate entered the bath all her warmth was restored and the bath turned a lot warmer, not to Kate's liking but she didn't want to leave you alone. You got in, in your bra and underwear (or boxers) and failed to notice Dr.Lava's face turning a bright fire red and also tears prick her eyes.

You: "You ok Kate?"

Dr.Lava sniffed and responded with a yeah.

You: "Kate your not ok you can tell me"

She then burst out crying and cuddles you.

Dr.Lava: "I was scared to lose you! I love you so much Y/n! I love you so damn much!"

You: "I lava you to" You say taking the chance for the pun.

Dr.Lava laughs and stop crying, you kiss her forehead and cuddle.

Time skip

You both got out of the bath and for once Dr.Lava put on PJs instead of just bra and pants.

You got alarmed when she sneezed and coughed.

You got a thermometer and put it in her mouth, it beeped and you pulled it out and showed it to her.

You: "You're sick"

Dr.Lava: "NoOoOoOOoOoo!" she says her voice purposely cracking.

You carried her in bed and covered her in an icepack blanket.

Dr.Lava: "Let me just go out in the snow"

You: "Not a chance! If Konny wasn't there you would probably be dead!"

She groans and lies there, everyone comes in and sees you and Kate, they all share that confused look.

You: "She is sick"

Everyone has an 'oh shes fucked look' you laugh at there faces.

Dr.Lava: "Stap it!~ My dream and nightmare came true on the same day!"

Everyone laughed and gave Kate there good lucks.

You: "Get some rest love"

Dr.Lava: "Ok, MOM!"

You facepalmed and let out a sigh mixed with a laugh.

You fell asleep next to Kates's bed as she fell asleep.

Dr.Bright: "Awww, how cute!"

He pulls out his phone and takes a photo.

Dr.Gears: "Let's get back to work, I'll inform O5-12 of what happened"

The other two nod and they all get back to work.

You: "Best mission ever"
