HttaLKr (How to treat a Lady Knight right) x Male Samurai Insert.

Leo Cornelia, also known as " The Undefeatable Holy Blade", found herself in the middle of a fight against a horde of demons and other creatures. She have been a knight to slay the demons, to protect her home, but to also let out her anger upon them. However, no matter how many demons she slay, there's something inside of her that feels... empty.

She had always been a girl many would love to marry. Back then, she is just as cheerful and innocent like any other child. She is the only child of her family, and her parents often work jobs to help her. Thus leaving her mostly alone in their household. There was a time where she never felt so alone. That time was with a boy named (Y/n).

He has been with Leo for as long as their childhood might have lasted. He always envision himself as a swordsman saving his damsel in distress (Leo). Everything was what Leo would have wanted: a friend, a family and happiness. However, there was a time where the happiness had faded away. (Y/n) have to leave the village to the eastern capital. He'd hoped that upon returning, he may protect the town. However, that also means leaving Leo.

Years as passed back to the present and now the once cheerful Leo, became a weapon to her people. Ever since (Y/n) left, all she could feel was a bit of apathy to him. Yet she doesn't know the answer as to why. Maybe it's because (Y/n) has always been with Leo when she's alone? Perhaps it is because they have a thing? Or maybe, Leo have a deep feeling for (Y/n)?

Leo's mind was quickly recovered as she was saved by a man in a strange armor. The man swiped away the demon's weapon as he slashed the throat of it, killing the demon in the process. He then turn to the Knight and offered a hand. Leo took his hand and the man help her up.

Leo: Who are you?

Man: I'll tell you later, but we must vanquish the demons first.

True to his words, there were some demons left and they were furious. Leo and the man draw there blades and attack the incoming horde.

Leo notes on the weapons this swordsman is using: a single-edge, slightly curved blade with a ring guard and a two grip handle, despite the sword length. However, the way he uses it is undeniable. Leo chops of the heads of the wicked, while the man cuts and slices them into pieces. Leo saw the man as he draws out a bow from his back and shoots an arrow towards some demons. She thought he was crazy, until a flash of light shows more than a hundred piercing the bare skin of the demons.

Leo: (So you learn magic, huh)

Eventually, there only a few left of the swordsman to unleash his final attack. He tells Leo to get down as he says, "Hōrīburēdo," the demon horde closes in as Leo bends down and waited for the man to finish his sentence, "desusurasshu!" He draws his hand across the blade and held it in two hands, the blade itself covered in a red flame. The demons were getting close and Leo is getting anxious.

Leo: (I'm not dying because of you!)

Before she could get up, the man screams, "Shinsu Akuma!", then swings his blade around him, unleashing a red ring that cut all the demons in half, killing them all.

The battle has ended in victory for the two. Leo stood up as the man sheath his blade.

Leo: Thank you.

Man: Your welcome.

Leo: What are you doing around here?

Man: I came here to go back to my old home, north from here. However, I heard the screams of the demons and figured to slay them.

Leo: I could've handled them all on my own.

Man: However, you seemed to be a bit reckless, regarding the fact you lack pauldrons, a helmet and have an exposed abdomen.

Leo: I like to show of my strength.

Man: That is what I would call suicide.

Leo: Hmph. Who are you?

Man: Oh. Wait before we began, a friendly face may be suitable.

He pulls down his mask to show his face in front of Leo. To the Knight's surprise, he seems so familiar... Yet, it's been some time.

Man: I think we've been known each other, Leo Cornelia.

Leo: W-Who are you?! How did you know my name?!

Man: Please, take a deep breath.

Leo: No!

With that, Leo nearly collapse to the ground, only for thean to catch her.

Leo: Don't touch me!

Man: I'm only helping you.

He helped the Knight up before they continued their conversation.

Man: Leo, I insist that you take some deep breaths.

Leo: Heh, like I'll ever trust you.

Man: I'm deeply sorry, Leo. Truly, I am.

Leo: How can you be sorry, (Y/n)?!

(Y/n): It's complicated from the eastern territory.

Leo: How complicated?

(Y/n): I had to protect the villages as it is my duty to do so. The day that I want to come back to see you again.

Leo: Grr. Why did you even bother coming back?

(Y/n): Unfortunately, my... My family has perished. It all happened all of a sudden, I'm lucky that my parents lived here, but there my own brothers and sisters had perish. I remembered the night the invaders came, pillage the villages, leaving no one that fight alive. I had to protect them, save them from this horror and kill the man responsible for this invasion, yet the invaders continued to roam. With few of them around, I had hoped that the villages prepare themselves for the eventuality of their return. As for me, I can only come back to you.

Leo listen into the words that (Y/n) spoke. It felt very genuine and from the look of (Y/n)'s face, it seems very uncomfortable to tell. However, Leo's often stubborn side said this, "So what? They could defend themselves well."

(Y/n): If I wasn't there, they could've died.

Leo: Then why so long?!

(Y/n): Leo I didn't became a Samurai for no reason. I became this, because I want to protect my village, to protect you! But there are others in need of help. I can't left them behind and let my selfish desires took over. I wanted to be a hero, but that means I have to sacrifice something to do so.

Leo: So you're still selfish.

(Y/n): No Leo, I became selfless for them. I had to help them to defend themselves.

After having enough of this going on and in fear of (Y/n) leaving again, Leo jumps at (Y/n) and pinned him to the ground.

(Y/n): Leo what are you --?

Leo: (Y/n), listen to me! I've been alone, okay! Ever since you came, I never feel alone in my home. My parents had to work for me, yet they neglected me for me! I'm forced to be alone! I hated being alone , until you arrive. Th-Then... Then, you left! Me all alone again!

(Y/n) just stares into Leo's eyes as tears started to form, dripping onto his armor as she continued.

Leo: It was never the same without you, (Y/n). You were to first person to not make me feel lonely. I became a knight so that one day, I will meet you once again. A-And now you decided to come back!

(Y/n): Leo...

The Samurai caresses Leo's face with his right hand, wiping away the tears of sadness from her.

(Y/n): Leo... I felt regret for leaving you. Even I must admit, it is hard for me to concentrate without thinking of you.

Leo: W-What are you saying?

(Y/n): Leo, when you first saw me, do you see me as a friend or more?

Leo: Perhaps more... Why?

(Y/n): I had to confess... I actually like you, Leo Cornelia - before this whole thing.

Without a second thought, the Knight smashed her lips into (Y/n). She have finally confessed her true love to him. After the kiss, Leo took her head off as she just stared into the confused and dazed samurai.

Leo: There!

(Y/n): Happy now?

Leo: Y-Yes.

(Y/n): Let's just go home.

The two return home as the town cheered for the two. It seems as though that Leo isn't the only one with a title as some of the townsmen called (Y/n) "The Ghost". A simple name, yet it hold a lot of meaning. Leo and (Y/n) both shrugged as they continued their adventures and demon slaying with the eventuality of them being permanent lovers.
