That was the last thing he will ever hear before the siege. Many people have fallen to lay waste to the enemy. For as long as it been, a lone knight looked up to the sun as he reminiscing the days before his fall. He have hoped that his brothers-in-arms have defeated the heretics.

In the west frontier, he has to adapt to the culture, yet still retain his faith and will. He maybe a bit weaker, but his tenacity, viciousness and skill of his sword has proven countless times to be a bit superior than that of some swordsman. His armor is a lot more protective and practical, given the fact that he was a soldier in a holy war - although his surcoat has given to age as with the cross faded away. Much like the unusual Goblin Slayer, the Crusader, a name given by the common folk, has a helm that, according to him, is one of the cheapest helmets that he could afford.

The helmet in question has two horizontal eye slits (Not too thick that most of the blades used can't get through, yet not too thin as for him to see our off) with multiple holes to breath. It's mostly rounded with the top part being flatten as if the blacksmith just add a piece of sheet metal. All that said, the people still think that the cheapest helmet is Goblin Slayer's - again this has been stated by the blacksmith that these helmets were relatively old from way back when.

Back to the Crusader, he is seemingly average in terms of money and has been paid a decent amount after "purging the heretics." In reality, it's just him doing monster slaying quest, which in one of them got him involved with Goblin Slayer. Others seems to take note of the knight's rather calm personality and skill. Particularly, when he have shown many of the adventurers that grabbing the blade of a sword is not a bad idea and it won't cut themselves. His sword may be his primary weapon, that's just one of the few things in his arsenal.

He is often seen carrying a kite shield a his form of extra protection against armor combating weapons. Often times, he is most successful with his shield and sword, cutting through waves of enemies, while protecting and defending not only himself, but also other people. He maybe seen as nothing more than a killing machine, but deep inside he has a heart of gold that is willing to do anything to protect the innocent.

Where will his story go? We may never know for now.
