She was sitting on a cliff that overlooked the ocean

She was waiting for Lichen

He had been living at her place for quite some time now

Because he didn't want to take part in Ferns plans for the village

Tho he had said Evergreen had returned recently and she was trying to find a peaceful way to stop Fern

He had said he had been watching the village with Ferns desperat attempts to find him

He came out of the forest and sat down beside her

"I don't have to see to know your beautiful Lilac" Lichen said

"Oh Lichen"

"It's true I don't" he said

"The plants tell me and I can just tell that you are" Lichen said

"Lichen that is so nice of you to say" Lilac replied

"And well I sorta like you more then a friend" Lichen said

She stared at him "You...you mean like love?"

"Yes that's what I mean Lilac" Lichen answered

She had felt the same for so long tho it had token a little while it get over that he well best not to think of that so she wouldn't ruin her own mood

Before she had let Lichen stay she hadn't realized how lonely she was by herself at her house but now she was glad to have his company and once things were back to normal she could invite him to actually live with her

Tho he might refuse she wasn't sure what she'd do if he'd refuse but for now she should just in joy the moment

Lichen lay a wing over her back and they sat there watching the sunset
