I woke up in my usual cold cell, my dream was filled with the memories of the last time I saw Mommy and Daddy, the day that the metal, squishy men took me. I had gotten used to the way they use me, the needles, and the voices had begun to be nothing new. But today was different.

When I had woken up today, instead of waking up to Krain taking me to the 'raising regimen', I think that's what they call it? I woke up to a large blaring sound. I covered my ears and hugging my knees against my body, the noise just blared on, it would stop for a second and repeat, over and over again.

There was thumping outside and I could hear Krain speaking, it didn't last long though, as soon after there were slashing sounds followed by larger thuds. I exhaled a sigh of relief as the alarms stopped for whatever reason.

"Alright, I shut off the alarm we got to hurry before they get reinforcements." I heard someone say, but they weren't Krain...

"Alright, we split up, Mikey you take the west wing, gather as much ooze as you can." Another new voice followed by thuds moving away, "Donnie, you head north to the control room, get as much information as you can," more thuds, "I'll go south to hold off any more Krain on their way, Raph, I need you to free any prisoners." There were some more thuds.

"Roger that. " Another new voice. I don't know what to do, Daddy and Mommy always said that being were dangerous, but the Krain weren't like other beings and they hurt me...What should I do if these ones find me?

I shrieked as something thin and silver banged through the door to my cell, it was pulled out after my scream, just as quickly as it entered.

"What the..." I heard the voice from earlier, followed by a giant green eye, I whimpered.

"Ple-please...I just want mommy..." I begged, I could feel tears in my eyes. I could almost see sympathy in his eyes, but it was hard to tell since it'd been so long since I'd seen emotions.

"We-well, I..I don't know where your mother is but I can get you put of here." He said, I looked up at him, praying he could see the hope on my face. "C'mon, let's get you out of here." I nodded, standing on shaking legs approaching the hole he made. I was surprised to see him have green skin and a shell? Is that what their called? He wore a red piece of fabric around his eyes along with a belt on his waist with weird pointy things. "My names Raphael, what's yours?"

"I...I'm (y/n).." He nodded and offered a, three fingered hand for me to climb on? How much have beings changed since I last heard of them.

I stayed on his shoulder as he helped me escape, later I met his brothers, Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo. From then on I lived with them in the sewers, along with a few others. I never really knew life outside of the Krain, but now that I'm with my new daddy, I wouldn't have it any other way.
