I'll give my life...

It has been days, weeks since Mitch had arrived on the moon and resided there. Every day, he would gaze back down on earth, and at the broken pieces of the space ship that was barely visible in the mass of black, and sigh sadly. He missed his bacca friend. Pressing down gently on a button attached onto his space suit, he gazed sadly at the now visible picture, his eyes overlapped in a sheen of unshed tears. He sighed again, his lips trembling with every exhale he took, as he sat on a ledge next to a window of his house on the moon. With utmost care, he took the picture from its place and cradled it in his hand, a single tear running down his tan cheek. The picture was nestled in a beautiful polished birch frame, and was thick yet feather light. He weighed it in his hand, his mourning eyes never leaving the bacca in the paintings'.

Suddenly, a small click was heard, and the frame split neatly into two straight at the middle. Mitch gaped at it, at a loss for words as a golden chain slithered out, the chain whispering against itself. A note that was folded in two also floated in the air, slowly decending to the ground. Mitch quickly put the frame and the picture onto a table, and grasped the note and necklace with a gloved hand. With shaking fingers, he pried the layers open. Tiny, cursive words filled the page, and several tear stains made the ink flow a tad, almost making it eligible.

With squinted eyes, he read the whole note carefully, his gaze darting back and forth.

This was what it said.

Dear Mitch,

If you are reading this, it means that I have been taken away by the ender dragon. First of, I'm really sorry. But this had to happen. By this time, I'm sure you're very confused and have no idea what's going on. And I don't have much time to explain. So let me make this clear. Do NOT go back to earth. That necklace I gave you provides you with infinite air to breathe. Wear it, and you'll be fine. During that time when we were going in the carnival, a person approached me. He told me of the impending doom that was to come. The man shall not be known.

Please biggums, stay safe. And never return back to earth, unless a man comes.

I really would like to describe him, my very heart and soul reaches out for you. I really want to explain everything, clear the fog, but he has my heart and soul trapped in a cage of impenetrable iron, and my lips are sealed without me commanding them.

I know what my fate was before it even started, it was inevitable. I had to be the one. I needed to be captured by him.

Don't worry, I might not be fine, but I won't be dead. I promise you.

From, your loving bacca,

Jerome.

He dropped the letter, his mind whirling with unanswered questions and with no one to answer them, he was at a loss. The letter drifted down gracefully, a feather dropping from the sky.

He took the chain. It was a dog tag, crafted by gold and had Jerome and his faces imprinted on the side. It was also shimmering, stating that it was enchanted. Slipping it around his neck, he let his arms fall to his side, tipped his head up, and let out and anguished howl of despair and confusion he had kept in him for the past two weeks.

He sank to his knees, limbs suddenly weak and refusing to function. Thick pearly tears streamed from his chocolate eyes and sobs wracked his body, breaking him further.

The picture stood on the table, showing two minecrafters. The difference from now and the past was gigantic.

Lifting his brown eyes, he choked out,

"Why Jerome?"

In another planet, a furry animal was trapped in a cell, just on the string of consciousness. Red substance was decorated lavishly on the walls and floor of the place, and soaked the animals fur.

He was chained to the wall, his shaggy head drooping dejectedly, eyes closed halfway. His hands and legs were shackled, along with his neck. He opened a bloodshot eye, and wheezed out, coughing drops of blood.

"Biggums,I'm sorry."

I don't even know.
I really don't.
