Emily is paralyzed from the waist down after having a riding accident and got a pretty bad blow to the head. She can walk, she just has to use crutches. She may never be able to walk normally ever again, it was caused when Zoe and Chloe accidentally spooked Emily's horse Pegasus and she landed on her head pretty hard and couldn't ride her horse for a long time as she was completely paralyzed to the waist down, she still came to Horseland with her friends, she just couldn't ride or walk anymore. She recently was able to feel her legs again and she is coming back to Horseland after learning to walk again for two weeks.

Backstory:
Emily is from Houston Texas, when she was eleven she came to Horseland and is friends with Molly, Bailey, Alma, Sarah and Will. Not so much Chloe and Zoey since they used to tease her about her bad hearing before she got hearing aids. She got her horse Pegasus when he was neglected by his previous owners and her dad rescued him for Emily and she helped the horse and he is now a healthy spunky horse that she absolutely fell in love with since day one.
