Dylan is the older sister of Jack Will. And while Jack hangs out with Auggie Pullman, she hangs around with Via and they get along very well. She is paralyzed from the waist down so she gets around in a wheelchair. The only ones who spoke to her are Via, Miranda, Justin and her boyfriend Jamie. She loves to read and she loves that her little brother is friends with Auggie and she likes the kid too. After all, she likes people who are different.

Despite Dylan not being able to walk at all, she is very sweet, confident, carefree girl who believes she can take on the world. She has trouble getting around in her wheelchair, she manages to find the silver lining in life and strives to go forward in life.
