So, I noticed my lovely friends oc Willow and my oc Alex have a lot of visual similarities and wantdd to explain their meaning

I migth get Willows lore wrong

Tw: talk of csa (no details), mentions of slavery, ab/se, short mention of beeing trans, scars, and Willow is in general very disgusting.

Alex

First thing:
Both are pale.

This is suprisingly for the same basic reason: both dont go outside much. (And with Alex genetic reasons, none in that familx is able to get a tan)

Which is for different reasons mostly.
Willow does not leave the house because he does not have to, and has slaves to care for him. Also he lives in the middle of a forest

Alex is stated to go to work insanly early and leave late, aswell as not beeing a social person to the point of spending most time alone at home. To the point he has 10 cats. He also sunburns a lot.

Next one: both have barely any skin exposed and seem to make a point out of not doing so (gloves, long sleeves, long pants, high necked clothing)

With Willow this is more for symbolic reasons, to show hw hides something. Which is a lot of stuff.

Alex doesnt just symbolicly hide stuff, he tries to literally hide his body/skin from view. For not only trans reasons but mostly scar related ones/csa trauma related ones.

Very importand interlude:

One of them is in cannon shown and widely known as a ab/sive r/pist and the other a victim. I do not mean to put them anyhow morally on the same level.

The colour blue is another similarity:

In both cases its for symbolic use.

My idea for why Willow has it, is mainly that the colour stands for inteligence and sadness. Willow caused quite a ton of suffering and several depressions.

Alex mainly has the colour blue for suffering, however his own one, and inteligence. A side reason is the colour blue beeing associated with masculinity. Alex is a trans guy.

Differences I just wanted to mention

Willow is by like everyone regarded as ugly. Alex is in cannon pretty

Willow is older then dust. Alex is 22.

Willow is transphobic, which I only wanted to remind you to hate him

Alex has been by several people regarded as baby. I will mirder you if you call Willow baby
