Let's just Vibe for the night (Oogie x Jack)

No one P.O.V

Life was lonely and Painful but that wasn't anything new to Oogie. He had come back from the dead once again and of course little to no one cared for his existence. He wasn't even permitted to see the troublesome Trio anymore thanks to sally taking his beloved children.

Not much he could do about it as everyone hated him and he didn't want to be Unravelled again.

Oogie would walk down a path, No one who passed him paying him any mind, ignoring him as if he wasn't there but he didn't mind that either.

I don't wanna smoke, I don't need a drink

Oogie would ignore the temptations of any human part of him he had left, the Casino Loving alcoholic with a drinking and smoking problem who contributed nothing to society.

He would keep walking, not giving any of the thousands of bugs that moved and squirmed inside him any thought, his mind and heart if he had it Numb and empty.

Just tell me how you feel, Just tell me what ya think

Oogie would stare into the eyes of a familiar red eyes woman who stood by 3 children, His eyes locked on to the children at her feet. If Oogie wasn't so numb he would realize and see how much the children wanted to desperately be with their father/leader figure, but they in the same knew what a look of pain and numbness was in Oogies eyes. They saw his empty gaze well and pitied him but they couldn't go to him, merely watch as he walked away alone, Sally pulling them away to follow her down a road that went the opposite way.

Cause I've been on my own for a fucking while

Oogie would hug himself as he walked out of the town's view, Knowing exactly where he was headed as he walked out of the place he used to call home.

And I don't need a girl cause I just wanna smile

Memories of his past flooded into his head, And he wouldn't try to stop them, letting the painful memories just add on to the heavy weight in his chest, His feet not wanting to work with his legs but he kept pushing on, walking aimlessly through the tall grey grass, Knowing just where he wanted to go.

Tryna get my mind Right

The mere idea of him being able to get his mind on the right track and tell everyone why he did the things he did and why he acted so terribly was a hope that had been crushed into dust. Even if one day he could do it, there was no one who would truly even care anyway.

I'll wait till the time's right

Oogie would eventually reach a hill, Sitting on top of it he would look up at the moon, crossing his legs and putting his sleeve like hands in his lap, wondering when would he be forgotten by the whole world, when would there be a time where he was forgiven and accepted into society once again? He didn't know and he wasn't sure how much he cared.

I'm meaning to tell ya, Why it's hard to sleep at night

A Skeleton all too familiar had seen Oogie walking towards the hill from his window, and had decided to follow. He couldn't sleep anyway and had been tossing and turning for hours, but he wasn't sure why he wasn't mad that Oogie was out in the open and not in his Lair.

Jack of all people should be the one who is the angriest at him, but as he walked up that hill, he couldn't find a speck of anger in his soul.

But something did reside when he saw the sorrowful and empty expression upon the living sack of bug's face. Pity perhaps..? Or guilt..

There's no need to fear now..Girl we should be here now..

The pumpkin king would walk up the hill silently, knowing in his soul he had no reason to fear someone who used to be his enemy. There wasn't much Oogie could do anyway even if he wanted too.

So why don't you hear me..I'm saying..Talk is overrated let's just vibe..

Jack would walk up behind someone he used to hate, someone who hated him he assumed without fear and without any emotion over weighing another as he sat by Oogie silently.

Oogie slowly turned to him, glancing at the pumpkin king silently with a look that told Jack "you hate me..go ahead kill me again..there's no point in my living anyway.." Jack felt a panh in his heart at that, knowing he was the cause of Oogies pain and sorrow.

Not a word was exchanged between the two, Just silence as they stared at eachother before Oogie Silently looked away, looking to the moon and stars once again. Jack would blink and look at the moon, wondering many things in his head, not once saying a thing he thought about in his head.

Love is overrated in my..mind~

Yet another argument between the pumpkin king and his "loving wife" what they argued about always changed but mainly about the trouble trio. The more Jack visited the hill and saw Oogie, the more his previous thoughts had begun to change about the once evil man.

A slap across his face and she walked out, the trouble trio merely being left to watch in shock and discuss amongst themselves in worry and sadness.

Jack and Sally no longer were in love and that was obvious by now, but everyone wanted to see the happy couple in the public so they acted, always acting and putting on a show.

Girl talk is overrated Let's just vibe~

Weeks and months passed and every day Jack would sit ontop of the hill next to Oogie, they never talked much, if they did it was only a few words, but the feelings that were conveyed through actions and looks was what mattered the most.

Maybe the two loved eachother and hadn't Realized it, or maybe they knew and it was something said through looks and actions and not words.

Who knows..
