Do you know what's scary?

Ninjago.

Not the show per say. No, it isn't scary at all. Yeah, the dragon Lord Garmadon turned into was a little creepy but only my little sister got scared of it, and she gets scared VERY easily.

No, what's scary are the coincedences between it and my story. Like, seriously. It's scary. Especially Zane.

Zane and Zack are practicly the same people. Their names even start with the same letter! I don't know how it happened, but I'm almost absolutly sure I never heard of it until after I started writing my book. And I've had Zack's character idea since, what? 1st grade? Long before Zane ever existed.

I mean, they even have purple fog at one point! It makes me get angry at the show a lot because it makes me feel like my book isn't original. But when the purple fog came I yelled "They stole my purple fog!" at the tv and everyone looked at me weird because I hadn't told them I was writing a book yet. I was on, what? Chapter 6? That sounds about right. I was around chapter 6 when I started watching ninjago. I've actually changed the plot of my book a few times just so it isn't as close to the show.

But anyway, now I'm really obsessed with the show, since it reminds me of my book so much. It isn't the most amazing tv show ever, I mean, it's meant for kids half my age so sometimes I don't really get the humor. But it's a good show. It's one of the only shows me and all of my siblings like.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the next season to come out on netflix since we don't have tv anymore. My little sister's friend somehow has the season already. So my little sister went over to her friend's house and watched the season. And when she comes back, what's the first thing she says to me?

"Zane blows up."

And I got really freaked out. Zane is my favorite. He can't blow up! That is not ok. My little sister ruined everything. The latest lego magezine had just come in the mail so I skimmed through the ninjago comic in it and

Zane

Wasn't

There.

  And so then I was really freaking out. I was rattled all night. next morning, I finally worked up the courage to ask my sister for specifics. And the ONLY thing she'll tell me now is

"The funeral was nice."

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

THE LITTLE DEVIL I CAN SEE IT IN HER EYES!

   So the reason I'm so obsessed with Zane is because he reminds me so much of Zack. So when I found out Zane blows up I couldn't get this image of Zack blowing up out of my head. Which is why this is such a problem! At least Zane got a funeral. Zack wouldn't ever get a funeral. See. This is how I think.
