Lullaby P.O.V

I sighed, laying against a tree. I was wearing what's called a "scarf" that was given to me by my teacher. To replace the collar I used to wear. I messed with it for a bit, tugging it.

I heard foot steps and saw my friend, who I considered a brother walking up to me. He sat by me, shakily, still not used to walking as I was.

He pulled him self up, pulling his knees to his chest as he stared out at the clouds that passed by.

"you know she doesnt love you like that right?" He whispered. I put my hands in my lap and looked down at my gloves. "Maybe I do know that. And maybe I dont. Or maybe I know but refuse to accept it" I whisper.

"Love at first sight itsnt real" he hissed back. "And how do you know that brother!?!?" I hissed back, whipping my head around to face hin. "Stop calling me that" he mumbled.

"Stop calling you what?" I asked, trying to calm down. "Brother. I'm not your brother. I dont think of you like a brother" he hissed at me, yanking on my scarf.

"And what makes you say that?" I wonder, confused as to what was happening and what strange emotion I was feeling. I thought I only felt this way around my teacher, but this....

He tore my scarf off and I yelped and tried to get it back. "Because unlike her..." he growled, ripping the scarf in two. "I love you" he mumbled, blush evident.

I looked at him surprised, blush lightly covering my face. "Give me a chance.....you'll see....please" he whispered.

I gulped, and he climbed into my lap, looking me in the mask. I felt terrified but at the same time I didn't.

"Okay....I'll give you a shot...dont make me seem like a fool alright?"
