Wow, I haven't talked about these two for a long time. Well, here goes. *sigh*

       The Stargate franchise has had many installments and at least three t.v. shows that ran from the 90's all the way into 2008. All-in-all, the movies are pretty good (I think I've seen all but one) but my favorite part about this franchise is Stargate SG-1.

       I started watching SG-1 around the same time that I started watching Angel, and one thing I noticed was that they had added another female to their cast.

       And I immediately shipped her with Jack.

       That's right, I'm a JackXSam shipper. My favorite character has always been Sam, and I saw fit to ship her with Jack as soon as possible.

       Now, if you've never watched the series or you're new, let me explain what this is about. Stargate SG-1 is about a team of four who travel through the Stargate and meet different races of 'aliens' along the way.

       Now our main character is Colonel Jack O'Neill, a recently-divorced member of SG-1. His backstory is tragic, but he learns to live with it every day as he travels through the Stargate. Three other characters accompany him, Daniel Jackson, Teal'c, and Samantha Carter.

       Samantha Carter is the brains of the operation, seeing as though she is an astrophysicist. But, despite her brains, she is a humble, obedient member of SG-1.

       Honestly, other than the fact that they're in love, I have no good reason to ship these characters. I mean, they just naturally fit together.

       Jack is the type of character that would be good in a fight, although, he is much smarter than he thinks. However, Carter is the type that doesn't mind showing off, but she doesn't it go to her head. Personally, they already make a pretty good team (with Daniel and Teal'c) so it would be even better to see them together permanently. (I have not finished the show and would prefer not to know what happens with these two. So please, NO SPOILERS!
