That's all Thanos heard. A simple move with two fingers. But for Godzilla, he heard the shouts of his adopted mother, Samizilla. As Goji galloped to his fading mother, tears roll down his large, scaly cheeks.

" I love you, motherzilla," he said shakily.

"I- I don't feel so good..." and then Samizilla became dust, floating away on the wind.

From then on, Godzilla vowed to find whoever caused this atrocious phenomenon.

2 months after The Snap, Thanos was on his island, alone, when he heard the screech of a large heron bird. He looked outside his cave to see a massive black creature stomping out of the ocean and towards the cave, scaring birds and scattering plants.  When Thanos finally met the dark, caramel-brown eyes of the creature, he was immediately entranced. Then he realized that the creature was on a path of destruction, opening his luscious lips and breathing a smoldering blast of fire.

Beautiful, he thought.  Usually, when Thanos saw a threat, he would simply snap it out of existence.  But he had destroyed the gauntlet and the stones.  He also just couldn't; The power of his deep interest in the creature overcame his lust for power and death.

So instead, Thanos calmly spoke with the creature (as calmly as he could with his heart pounding wildly).

"What did those Palm trees ever do to you?" he said, amused at all the crushed leaves and branches underfoot.

Goji, The black creature, was taken aback by the calm confrontation.  He expected Thanos be a man of evil err, not a strikingly handsome flirt.  And... now that he looked closer Thanos... his skin had an adorable purple tint.

Wait, he thought.  I know I am openly gay, but I can't be attracted to the murder of billions of life forms. Or can I?  He dismissed the thought and began questioning Thanos.

"Thanos, you have killed many.  So have I, but I did it mostly with pure intentions.

"Usually I would leave you be, but you killed my mother without giving me time to say a proper goodbye.  For that, you shall pay."

"My time in this universe is short, I see.  But, I am inevitable," Thanos said poetically.

Goji decided to investigate further, using his power to shrink down to Thanos' size.  He approached Thanos, looked him up and down, and sat confusedly on the beach.

Thanos went back to his cave, got tea and crumpets, brought them back outside to share and sat on the sand next to Goji.

"Who are you?" Thanos asked after a few moments spent in silence.

"I am Godzilla, but many call me Goji," he replied.

" Goji I must admit I am surprised you found me.  But no matter, I am glad for this unexpected companionship."

"Then I shall stay and get to know you.  See if you are worth the trouble of killing."

"Alright.  How about we-"

Suddenly, there was a crash, and they looked up to see a ship enter the atmosphere.

"You must go," Thanos exclaimed.  "They are here for me, not you."

After a moment of hesitation, Goji replied, "Alright.  I'll be back, though."

Goji head behind the cave wall as some people dressed in very strange clothes marched in after Thanos.  He heard Thanos say "I am inevitable" and saw someone lift a strange ax and right before they were about to decapitate Thanos, Godzilla cried out to surprise them.

"Who's there?"

"It is I, Godzilla of Earth.  And you shall not hurt this purple oaf."

CHAPTER 2

"What are you doing here?!?!?!  I told you, they came for me not you.  Get out of here and let me deal with them!!"  Thanos protested.

"No.  You're a kind enough person with good intention so I'm going to make a deal with these strangely dressed pieces of lint."  Godzilla turned to the Avengers. 

"If you will spare his life, I will keep watch over him.  I know I may not look intimidating, but you don't know how strong I am.

"Either do this, or I'll do it anyway, just without your help."

The Avengers exchanged looks, and after much thought, agreed to Godzilla's terms.  They left in peace and left Godzilla and Thanos alone.

"Why would you do that for me?"  Thanos asked quietly.

"Well... ever since I laid eyes on you, I realized that I think I'm in love.  All those things that I researched about you, all the information I got, I know that you're a good person.  I- I love you."

With that, Godzilla gently leaned in and kissed Thanos.  After a surprised moment, Thanos kisses back, with much difficulty.  The two aliens had verydifferent anatomy, but they made it work.

"I love you so much and want to be with you forever.  But it's hard because we're both very different races. So, I have an idea,"  Godzilla began.

"Well, what's your idea?"  Thanos said, intrigued.

"I know of a magical potion that can make us turn human whenever we want, but we have to be able to control it or it will take us over." (yes I did just reference dr. jekyll and mr. hyde.  no i dont care what you think.  #5th period language arts cms)

"Do you know where to get it?"

"No, but I know how to make it.  We just need a few ingredients and a sign of our true love."

"I think the sign of our true love should be the empty gauntlet, because it brought us together!!"  Thanos said endearingly.

"Alright.  Lets go collect those ingredients!"

"Gosh I know it's been so long since we started looking for these ingredients-"

"three months" godzilla interrupted.

"-but im glad we finally have the potion. Just drink!" And with that, Thanos tipped back his glass at the same time Godzilla did.  They both felt a strange sensation before passing out

They woke up about an hour later, dizzy and naked.  

"AHH!" Godzilla exclaimed, averting his eyes from Thanos' naked body, though he didn't reallly want to.

He loked at himself, his abs and dark hair, and was happy with his results.  Once they both looked at each other, they discovered Thanos' eyes were purple and his hair was the colors of the 6 infinity stones.

They looked each other up and down and began making out on the spot.  Well, being in human form certainly made some things much easier to do...
