The time an any% speedrunner got summoned in his favourite game

-Thank you for your donation, zzzMC-DUMBERTRON-564zzz!- I cheerfully thanked my patron, who decided to donate 10 Euros right after I managed a cool strat.

BOOM! Went the thunderstorm outside. Thank goodness my headset isolated me, or the sudden noise would've scared me, spoiling the run.

-I've been practicing this skip for months, look at this, chat!-

Jump, shoot, turn left and... fireball!

The backwards momentum gained through the fireball sent my character flying through a wall and into the dungeon, allowing me to skip a 10 seconds long cutscene.

I only had to jump a few frames before touching the floor, to allow the game to load the hitbox in time.

Its embarrassing to admit, but... I missed the timing and my character fell into the void below the map.

-DAAAAMN!- I moaned. The whole run was lost now. My character would fall forever, because the devs forgot to add a check for infinite falls.

The chat was very supportive:
"Don't give up!"
"🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍"
"Poggers!"
"It was just one of the first levels, try again"
"😚🙃🤫🤪🥰😐🤗😘🤔🤨😇😜"
"It was still amazing!"

BOOM! Another lightning outside. Without the game audio, I could hear the rain ticking on the window.

Motivated by my fans, I put on my determined face:-What do you say? Do we try again?-

The shower of donations spoke for itself, I could afford rent that month thanks to those people.

-Then let's GOOOOOO!-

I aggressively pressed the enter key to select a new game.

Oh, past me, if only you didn't do it.

CRASH! That very instant, a lightning hit my house. The lightning rod must've been broken, or something (I don't know how they work), because the pure electricity of the thunderstorm caused all the wires in my house to fry. The last thing I remember is a blinding light, as if my gaming setup exploded.

As I opened my eyes, I was in the middle of a pathway leading to a castle.

This is the beginning of "QuestQuest: a Request for Quests!" I thought. That was the game I've been speedrunning for a living.

-What's with this weird first person view, chat? Did I bug the game?- I looked at the bottom left of my vision, trying to see the chat, but it wasn't there.

Huh?

-Sorry guys, for some reason I can't read chat, but I'll fix that later, now it's time to QUEEEEST!-

I ran west, out of the path. Behind a rock was a decent weapon that would accompany me for the entire speedrun.

-Now that we got the Sword of Swording Swords, we can follow through the main quest and complete the game within an hour.-

I ran and jumped until I got in the castle, turned right and saw the old man who would give me the tutorial quest, necessary to unlock the Explosion Ending, the fastest of them all.

I tapped the old man on the shoulder.

-HELLO ADVENTURER!- he said, in all caps.

I tapped him again.

-Welcome to...-
Tap.
-You must...-
Tap.
-But...-
Tap.
-I...-
Tap.
-Good luck adventurer!-

I started running backwards until my back touched a wall, then I took out my Sword of Swording Swords (aka SOSS) and attacked in front of me while jumping.

This pushed me back in the wall just enough for the hitboxes to overlap and basically leave me suspended in midair.

I ran along the wall until I found a tower, then I jumped and rolled to get inside of the window.

-How was that, chat?-

Inside of the tower, I just had to run and jump until the top.

-HO HO!- Said the old man, who was teleported on top of the tower by the game. -You finally did it, I was worried I'd grow old waiting.-

-I can't skip this part, but come on man, that was a world record timing!-

-HO HO! You remind me of when i was young. As a reward, here is my old armor. Wear it with pride!-

-Lol nope. The armor slows you down in this game.-

-Take this gunpowder too, it represents the energy of youth. You can use it to tear down any obstacle, or deal significant damage.-

I dropped the armor in front of the man who gave it to me, then I immediately rolled off the tower.

As I touched the ground, there was a big explosion and I unlocked the Explosion Ending! Only four more to go...

Or so I thought.

Turns out I didn't realise I was Isekai'd and that my death meant my ACTUAL death. God is currently scolding me for wasting my second chance.
