(In the future....Miro notices how resentful Mia is when it comes to the afterlife and dead people "watching over you"....when another one of her family members died....Miro went to reassure her that it's okay and that they're watching over her....which only led to this outburst)

"Miro! Stop saying that bullsh*t!"

"Everybody knows that it's not true!"

"Just like what happened to your grandmother before her soul was put into a puppet!"

"And stop telling me what they would've wanted! It doesn't matter!"

*Mia makes eye contact with him* 

"Son....I want you to know this....Heaven is nothing but a trap....it takes people who pass and they eventually forget about friends and family who are still alive....I don't want you hearing about those lies....with any friend or family member who dies, they forget about us as they get distracted by the pretty colors. Now, I'm going on an errand....your dad will look after you. But....when I come back, I don't want to hear another word about this from you. Do you understand?"

*Miro nods reluctantly* 

"Good, I'll be back."

*She heads out leaving Miro bewildered by her outburst and not knowing what to think....he heads to where Angel is who overheard the conversation* 

"Oh, hey Miro....so you got lectured about....y'know?"

*He responds that he has....but asks Angel why Mia's very resentful to the afterlife and the thought about dead people watching over them....Angel lets out a sigh and pushes his hair back* 

"Son....I was hoping you would ask this question....and....I have an answer for that...."

"You see....whenever someone she's close to passes....she believes that they're trapped and can no longer see their friends or family members....it's happened to her Grandpa John....uugh....from that b**ch of a stepmom's side of the family....her paternal grandma's dogs....it started when Sapphire died....she was deeply upset....and that's when it developed the thought of Heaven being nothing but a lie....as time went on, she calmed down....but....when Steve and Sylvester died....it worsened....and....in November of 2023....your grandmother....died in her sleep one night....that's what set her off completely....she was in a deep state of grief at the time....god....it was hard to hear....I could hear her sob her eyes out and screaming from the agony of her heart....that's what it completely narrowed her mind....she even told me that....her mom probably forgot about her....this was before she became Vulpecula....Mia even lashed out at me when I tried to help her....I could tell she didn't mean any of the horrible things she said to me....but....what struck me the most....was....when she told me that Heaven is a horrible place and it traps people and even makes them forget about friends and family....and....coming from someone whose mom is also up there....your paternal grandmother....really hurt....she still comes from time to time....she even came when you were just a baby....I walked out and let her grieve in her own pace....but....I noticed how she wasn't doing so well....she barely got any sleep and she was losing it....and it seems like she still won't let that thought go today....but I shouldn't be surprised....you know how strong your mother's thoughts are....nothing can change her mind...."

*He brings Miro into a hug* 

"Please....don't listen to what your mother tells you....the things she says aren't always true....it's just the grief talking....it always gets to her....and before you know it, she'll be okay....after a few days....but....if she goes down that downward spiral of grief and doesn't take care of herself....that's when we'll come in, okay?" 

*He agrees as a soft smile forms* 

"There you go. There's the smile you got from me. Now c'mon, let's cause some trouble if you know what I mean."

*Angel chuckles as Miro eagerly nods* 

"Hurry, before your mom comes back!"

*They both get into the car and drive off*
