I can see right when Charlie gives up and falls into a state of hopelessness....Amir and Mabuz stopped time and froze everything and everyone so they could talk to her without Adam or anyone else interfering. 

They saw how Charlie was losing her sense of hope and how she gave up given by how she was at her knees and couldn't do anything about what happened to Sir Pentious.

The reason why they wanted to stop time and talk to her was because they wanted her to keep fighting despite Sir Pentious's supposed demise.

And when her will to fight renewed, they unfroze time and that's when she summons Razzle and Dazzle, reveals their true forms and her demon form.
