"You have three minutes," the woman glared at me.

I smiled. "Okay."

Then I was gone. I felt my legs pumping as colors blurred around me. She stopped and I stopped next to her, letting go of her hand. "That'll do?" She asked. I nodded and immediately there was a strong gust of wind and as she was gone. She hated me, but that's okay. It only made sense.

I closed my eyes and let the new power flow through my blood stream. I smirked as I opened my eyes, taking off. I knew where I had to go. And I didn't have much time. I turned my feet, sliding to a stop.

There it was.

The tornado of blue color was ridiculous. I saw everyone around me and I knew that I had to hurry. I set my face when all of a sudden I heard a gasp. "Y/n?!" Someone shrieked.

Crap.

I looked over at Nightwing and smiled. "I'm sorry," I told him.

Then I zoomed into the tornado. I felt it push against me, pulling me back until I met the motion, like a whirlpool. Except I was running with the storm. I raced as fast as I could, looking for Wally. He had to be here. Come on come one come on! I was running out of time!

That's when I saw him. I picked up my speed until I was next to him. "WALLY!" I screamed. He looked over, confused, then almost stopped dead when he saw me. I smiled weakly, half relived to see his face again but feeling sick as and he glared at me.

"What are you doing here?" He almost growled. I flinched.

"I'm so sorry, Wally... I'm so sorry. I can only hope that this will explain everything." I handed him a letter. He took it as we ran, looking at me like I was crazy. It probably seemed crazy to him right now. It would make sense soon. He cried out when blue electricity zapped him. I grabbed his arm, wincing as I absorbed some of it. He ripped his arm away and I pursed my lips.

He looked at me, incredulous. "A letter?! Explain to me in person! You're not leaving again!" He was trying to run faster, push ahead of me, but I kept pace with him. Struggled to, but I did.

My eyes met his sadly and I bit my lip a moment before yelling, "Wally, I won't get the chance to tell you in person..."

"WHY NOT?!" He yelled, rightfully angry.

Shaking my head, and solidifying my decision as doubt and regret settled in, I blinked around my teary eyes. "Because I have to make it up to you. Prove myself," I explained carefully.

"And how are you going to do that?" He demanded, eyes burning but flecked with genuine curiosity. I smiled to myself. Always curious...

I paused only a second more to take in every millimeter of his face. The last face I'd ever see... Cue internal sigh here. "I love you, West," I told him. Then I kissed him. Quickly, but I did it. Then I pushed him. He flew out of the tornado thing and went flying. I looked forward, hoping he was okay but knowing he was alive. Focusing on the task at hand, I closed my eyes, zooming around again and again. I felt the tingling start in my hands as the electricity zapped me again and again and then I felt it all slow down as the need for the tornado lessened.

Why did we need it again? I don't remember. I came here to save Wally, and they told me that the only way I could is if I took his spot. So I did.

The tornado slowed to a stop and I stumbled as I stilled. I looked behind me and everyone was staring at me. I looked down at my hands. They were fading... My head dropped and I closed my eyes, letting a tear fall down my cheek.

"Y/N!" Wally screamed. I looked up as he tried to get up and race to me but his leg seemed to broken - or ankle or something - because he couldn't stand. Nightwing jogged to his side, helping him hobble over but by then it was too late.

Everything was finding that out. Including me.

My purpose was fulfilled.

"Goodbye, Wally," I whispered.

Then I fell into darkness, my mind and my consciousness fading into nothing as my body flickered and faded, dissipating into nothing. The last thing I heard was Wally scream my name, his hand reaching out just to fall through me as I disappeared into nothing.
