More Questions for Varian
"I'm here again?"
"Shush, Var. You messed up the introduction."
"Let me do the introduction then."
"Okay then." Tess nods once, urging him forward. Varian steps towards the wall.
"Hello, everyone! It's me, Varian, here with my friend, Tess." he says, "She's a bit grumpy, apparently." he whispers, "Either way, I'm here to answer some more questions and such!" he smiles. Turning to Tess, he asks, "What's the first question?"
"Myth57 asks: Do you know how you got your blue hairstripe?" Tess says in a monotone voice.
"Well, Tess has told me lots of theories you all have about how I got my 'hairstripe', and I'll just plainly say, it was an alchemy accident. I was really young when I started learning, and I accidentally messed up, and well..." Varian gestured to his hair, "This happened. I'm just grateful I'm okay. That could've gone really bad..."
"Yeah, it could've turned your hair pink." Tess gives a small laugh. Varian rolls his eyes.
"At least you're smiling now."
"Whatever." Tess says, her smile fading away as fast as it had come.
"Stop being so angsty." Varian says.
"Says Mr. TheyWillPay."
Varian just gives her a deadpan look. And Tess gives him the same exact look back.
"Would you rather have someone else here?" Varian asks, breaking the tension-filled silence.
"Yes."
"Really?"
"...no..." Tess admits, "But I do wish people would request some other characters too." she then whispers, "Like pretty much any Jeremy Jordan characters..."
"Okay, well, since I did the intro, do you want me to do the outro too?" Varian asks.
"Sure!" Tess smiles.
"Well, everyone," Varian says, "It's time fo-"
"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!"
"What now?"
"I was about to end this, but I remembered, you have another question!"
"Okay, what is it?"
"VarianFizherbert says: I have another question for Varian. How do you think things would've played out if Rudiger was encased in the amber instead of your father?"
"Oh, hello again, VarianFizherbert!" Varian says to the wall, "If Ruddiger had been trapped in the amber, things probably would've been a lot different. I still would've been heart-broken, but I would've had my dad to help me keep my emotions in check." he says, "But then again, I wouldn't be who I am today. Hardships help us grow, and become better."
"That was... deep..."
"It was a deep question, Tess."
"Yeah, yeah," Tess says, "Let's go ahead and do the outro. I need to go eat."
"Okay, then..." Varian says, "Well, it's time for me to go, (until next time), so I want to leave you with this message: You are wonderful, just the way you are. Keep it up!"
