Third person point of view
"Hey Percy," Jason said as he saw Percy by the beach one night.
"Hi, Jason." Percy replied turning around and looking at him. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh nothing, really. I wanted to talk to you. You weren't in your cabin or Annabeth's, so I assumed you'd be here," Jason answered.
They stood in silence for a while, listening to the peaceful sound of the waves crashing on to the beach.
"So," Percy said, sitting down, "you wanted to talk to me about something?"
"Yeah," he answered, also sitting. "I wanted to apologize. I was jealous of you and now I don't think I should be."
"You were?" Percy asked. Jason sighed.
"Yeah," he said. "I was jealous of how much the people here liked you and missed you. I don't think the Roman Camp missed me that much."
"But they did, man," Percy told me. "When just got there, they were still searching for you. The camp needed a Preator now that one of theirs were missing. They hesitated on electing a new one though. You brought the fifth cohort to victory when they had lost hope. They did miss you."
Jason smiled. "I know that now. It's just that I didn't think soon at the time. I was jealous for something I hadn't done my research on. I was jealous because of how everyone listened to you. You were always more of a leader than me. You even refused immortality for Annabeth. I know I wouldn't have done that. You are extremely loyal to your friends. I mean, you fell into Tartarus for Annabeth. That's more loyal than I could ever be."
"What do you mean?" He asked. "You're a good leader. You're loyal."
"Not as good as you," Jason replied miserably. "But even though I doubt that I'll ever be as good as you, I'm just going to face it. But I'm not jealous anymore. I know that your not perfect, I'm really not perfect, but at least you never asked or wanted any of it. nobody's perfect."
"You're right, she is," Percy said proudly.
"Yeah..." Jason agreed. "Wait, what?"
"You're right, Nobody is perfect," Percy said slowly.
"Oh." Jason laughed nervously. "I thought you said 'you're right, she is,' like you were talking about a person."
"I did," Percy said. "Annabeth is perfect."
"Annabeth?" Jason asked. "How did we start talking about her?"
"Hey, man," Percy said. "You're the one who brought her up."
"What?" Jason asked. "When did I do that? Nobody said anything about Annabeth."
"You just talked about her again!" He exclaimed. "You just said 'Nobody said anything about Annabeth.' Wait, tell me. What did Annabeth say about herself?"
"What?" Jason asked confused. "I never said-"
"You just that she said something about herself," Percy said, frustrated. "If she said she's ugly again, then I'm pregnant and a baby is going to come out of my head."
"What?" Jason asked. He got tired of asking that question.
Percy waved it off. "What did she say?" He asked seriously.
"What?" Jason asked again. "You know what? I'm done trying to understand your secret codes." He got up and walked away.
Great, Jason thought sarcastically as he stormed off. More secrets that the mysterious Percy has. I bet his friends would know what he's talking about. Why can't I know him as well as them?
Percy stared at his back, confused at Jason's outburst. Then he looked up at the stars and scanned the constellations. He found the new constellation of the Huntress.
"Sorry I couldn't save you," he whispered. "Zoë, Bob says hello."
