The Mortal Instruments is the fandom here. And it's Clace (ClaryxJace) vs Climon (ClaryxSimon) feel free to say who you ship. Personally I kinda ship them both.

Clace- I feel like, well the ship didn't come out of nowhere. But it is so cliché. Like, the girl falls for the hero. Yeah because that's so original. *rolls eyes*
The way that they fall for each other though. It's not like they start banging in the first book. No. They take it slow and sure they hit a few bumps in the road, but their relationship just works. Their relationship is not one sided.

Climon- Yeah okay, they're  cliché too. They are best friends who fall in love with each other. No one has seen that a million times either. *rolls eyes*
I truly believe that they love each other, but not romantically. They love each other like brother and sister. There is not really any romance there.

I ship Clace more though. Sure Climon is okay, but I feel like Clace has a stronger relationship than they do. (In the romantical sense.) Plus I like the fact that, Clary and Simon are still besties. It proves that guys and girls can be friends.
