Tallest man

Fact of the Day: The tallest man in medical history was Robert Wadlow at 8'11". He subsequently died from a chafing sore on his ankle because he had impaired blood flow to his extremities, so he couldn't feel that his leg brace  didn't fit correctly. He also weighed in at about 500lbs at his peak. And his peak daily food consumption rate soared to 8000, more than triple most people's average. He was born a normal weight of 8lbs 6oz with no signs of being a future giant, that is not until a short time later. By the time he was 6 months old he was 30lbs which is about twice the weight of the average 6 month old. And by the time he reached kindergarten, he was 5'6.5" tall, so in kindergarten he was taller than I am as a senior. And by the time he graduated, he was 8'3" which is the current height of the tallest living man, Sultan Kosen. He also kept growing until he died June 27, 1940 at 8'11"age 22 with no signs of slowing down.

Think about that. He was a truly a tall man.

Here is his shoe compared to a size 12 and his height compared to his dad who was 5'11.5"

Think about this. 🤔
