Silver took a breath of relief.

For the first time in months she felt like she was actually alive and free.

No wars to fight, no jobs to do, she could just relax.

Since her retirement, caused by her previous banishment, she has found herself with a lot of free time.

She mainly found herself exploring the town, meeting the people she has never met, and making new friends.

She even picked up tech building!

Once she met the people, she found out how much of a hero she was to the town.

Apperantly during the war she save a lot of lives. Most people even protested to have her banishment removed when she first got banished.

Meeting such nice people made her smile.

Lots of them taught her how to do things she never imagined she would ever be able to do.

They even helped her build a small house to stay in!

Before the thought of retirement seemed like a silly thought to Silver. All of the spy missions she got to go on, and all of the times she got to spar, she would miss it, but now, although she did miss all those things, she enjoyed getting to know the people of the town.

Sometimes she would re-enter the castle to catch up with Sylvester but that would really be it.

The castle was a depressing place to stay, and being out in the town was like being somewhere with a totally different culture.

In the castle, you wouldnt just chat. Most times you would need to schedule times, but out in the village, you can talk to almost anyone just by coming up to them.

The people were very warm to be around as well, with neighbors often helping neighbors.

One day however, Silver entered the castle.

She was looking around for anything to help her find Charlotte, though Charlotte and her may not have been great friends, she still wanted to check on her.

Silver entered the lab of the Royal Scientist, Oniyx.

She looked around for the scientist as she ventured in, but found no one.

She shrugged it off and began to scan the paperwork for anything that related to Charlotte.

As she searched, a document caught her eye.

It was a document of ALL missing dark statics.

She personally had never heard of any statics going, which it why she was surprised when she saw how long he list was.

Eventually, she noticed the pattern that they were ALL workers of the castle.

Documents next to them stated all the missing people as expendable. As she scanned the paper, she even found her own name, however her name was not on the missing static list.

She gulped at the sight of the dark documents and she jumped when she heard the door to the lab close loudly.

Silver looked across the lab to see Oniyx giving Silver a warm smile.

"Hello Silver! What brings you by?"

"Oh- Um" Her eyes trailed off to the documents before looking back at Oniyx, she tried her hardest to not stumble over her words. "Ah, well, you see, I am looking for documents on Charlotte... And um.. I came in here... to see.... If you had any documents. ..!! Which you do, so I think I will now be leaving!"

Silver facepalmed in her head.

Shes fucked... She messed that up bad.

Oniyx looked over to where Silver was standing and looked at the documents from across the room.

"Oh no, thats quite okay, you just arrived, why not stay and chat? You rarely visit!"

"Maybe cause youre super creepy" Silver thought to herself.

"Oh, no, I really have to go... Got uh... people to meet outside!"

Oniyx stared Silver down and smiled.

"I think you actually can stay! Surely where ever you are trying to go isnt that important. I actually wanted to talk to you about the hot spot static as well!"

Silver gave a fake smile.

"Ah.. Okay. I guess that's fine...." Silver crossed hef arms.

"Perfect!" Oniyx finally walked up to Silver.

Silver stayed quiet as she approached.

"So, Silver, ex Royal Knight.... What do you know abqout Charlotte. I mean you clearly know something. I see you less and less in the castle. Where are you going."

"Oh.. I actually live in the town now."

"When did that happen? I never recieved paperwork that you owned a house."

"There is paperwork for that..?"

"Of course!" Silver giggled, "There is paperwork for everything! Quite a fan of it too, you should know."

"Yeah....."

"Anyways, lets get to the point." Oniyx crystalized Silvers feet, stopping her from moving. "Don't think I will just let you leave after reading such classified documents... You're going to tell me where Charlotte is hiding, or you die. Your choice!"

"I- What?! I came in here to find her, I don't know where she could be!"

"Tick tock, the more time you don't give me an answer, the less time you have!"

Silver shook her head and randomly blurted out, "She is in the SETs."

Oniyx clicked her tongue. "Oof... that didn’t sound very sure!" She formed a crysyal in her hand and stabbed Silvers hand with it, the crystal cut into her skin and broke apart into her static.

"I don't know! I already told you!" Silver looked at Oniyx like she had gone mad.

Oniyx smiled.

"Well then, I guess you aren't useful at all. I will do the Praisor a favor and kill you myself!"
