Meditation Passed the Time

Golden tall grass peeked out of the ground.

She looked around. Had She really been here this long? It felt like forever since she saw the moon, or had a good afternoon book to read.

It had always been the same thing here, an endless field, and that it was always day. She would walk hours in one direction and get nowhere.

There was this feeling She kept feeling however, that she was being watched. She had never seen everyone here, just that one puddle and those shadows just once.

She heard footsteps every now and again, but She could never find the source.

There were no signs of life here.

It never rained, night never came, it was always the perfect temperature out. Something was off.

It had been another week of walking in a straight line. She thought this place may be trying to break her, but She has been through something like this before, only she was present in her body, not here.

After trying to remember what happened, she thought that this must be a static, again.

She wondered if the reason she couldn't see the static this time was because of her form. She seemed to be some kind of mutant when she looked in the puddle. However whenever she looked at her hands, her feet, her hair. It was all the same.

She remembers that she was attacked by a static before this. Before here.

Maybe that staticy liquid She kept throwing up had attracted static?

"AHHHH!!" She cried out while hitting herself in the head. "I should've thought through everything before going to see Silver!" She thought to herself.

She shook her head.

"I can't believe I let that happen again! I hope Dixen and Legend are okay…" She thought to herself more.

She shook her head before continuing to try and find an exit to this place.

Two Month Later

She was meditating in the field.

She had given up.

She didn't know how many days had passed, how long she had gotten, or if anyone was still trying to find her.
She was just meditating just to pass the time and make herself forget she was here.

She was hungry yet not hungry, thirsty yet not thirsty.

Was this what it felt like to be a static?

She hated it.

Her magic wouldn't work here, or at least… Maybe she was too tired to use it.

She wouldn't mind seeing anyone right now, the real world was difficult, but She prefered it much more to this. Whatever this place is.

Loneliness is an experience She had the pleasure to never feel before this.

She had her friends, Jet, Brella, Cookie, and Ray. She missed them dearly, she hoped they had a good person, with good stories to tell.

Brella left shortly before her, it sounded like she was chosen by a young girl who wrote about unicorns and friendship. She felt jealous that Brella got to narrate stories about friendship, all She got to narrate was trauma and heartbreak. From time to time, she was tasked at narrating a few roleplays, not many however.

Then there was Magna, he was the one who came to pick me up. He was so happy, when he got to spend time with all of the OCs, and he never wanted to forget a moment of anything, so he always carried a camera to never forget our faces.

It was a sad day to see Gan fire both Sally and Magna. I was there when it happened, the look on Magnas face was just so…. Sad… Sally however, seemed just… tired. I never got to talk to Sally much, but whenever I did, she was always so serious and always working on something.

Apparently, according to Magna, she was working on a secret project in her free time. Magna never told me what it was though.

After that, we moved to the Space Between Fandoms. It was different from the SETS. You could actually see the sky, the sun, the moon, and we were all living in one house, usually we would just be in small holes in the cavernous burrowed hole in the ground. So it was nice, just to breath fresh air, to see trees.

Dixen definitely liked it, she always complained about in her story she would always be traveling to where she could, and be free.

She was always so courageous. Sometimes, I envy her. Over time, here, she seemed to get more cautious. I think it was because of me….

This is my fault…. I should have been more cautious too…. When I saw Magna here in the SBFs for the first time, I was so excited, I guess I should have questioned the trust.

Obviously those pills he gave me did nothing but make me feel worse about myself, it was probably revenge on Gan for firing him so harshly.

He would never answer any of my questions, but from what I can tell, he was trapped in the closet for… a while.

Anyways, when we first got here, in the Space Between Fandoms, I was introduced to Legend. At first, I didn't really think anything of him. He looked like just some guy that I was supposed to be nice to and smile for. But after a while, I apparently opened up to him, because he was one of the first people I had laughed with after leaving the set, other than Silver.

She opened her eyes.

She really missed everything….

She looked to her left, her bag was still here. Her bag had been with her when she woke up here, but it didn't contain the same material. It actually contained nothing. But after a while, it was filled with photos and notes, mainly of her, or stories of her.

It was her only way to look back at her life. She opened it to find a book.

She rubbed eyes in disbelief, before looking around.

"I swear things keep appearing in this bag so randomly!" She thought to herself.

She looked back in the bag, the book was still there. She picked it up and looked at the cover.

It read "Endling: The Last" on it.

She felt her eyes get watery.

She wiped her eyes before hugging the book very tightly.

"Thank you" she whispered softly out loud.

She smiled and opened it, but all the pages were blank.

"What?" She mouthed, flipping through every page, but there was nothing. Just the cover had text.

She stood up and threw the book in the ground before sniffing up her runny nose and wiping her eyes.

"This is so unfair!" She thought.

She stood there for a second before realizing she had gotten the book covered in dirt.

"Shit! Nonononono!" She quickly fell to the ground wiping off the book to make sure it wasn't covered in the weird mud here, before looking at the book once more, and putting it back in the bag.

She took a breath.

"Well… I am not going to get anywhere sitting here! If things are still appearing, that is a good sign that I am on the right path!" She thought

She zipped up her back before picking it up and setting it on her back, before continuing in the direction she had kept going, even though her feet ached, she kept going.

There was no more time to give up!
