What the hell are you doing?

Yesterday you revealed to us the new Lycanroc form and I.. am incredibly disappointed. Does that mean it looks bad? No. Does that mean I dislike it? No. But why do I like it? Because I already liked Lycanroc Midday form and this thing is an orange version of that

You're right! It does! and that's it. I get you were trying to do a fusion of the two, but it's not a fusion. It's Lycanroc Midday with some extra fluff and got covered in orange juice.

Now this seems like a silly thing to get upset over, and it kinda is, but there is more to it. The new games are scheduled to come out in Novemeber. That's about 3 or 4 months away. This Lycanroc is the first bit of news we've gotten since the very first trailer. And I'm concerned. If they're putting this little work into making a new design and this is the only new thing they have to show us, what have they been doing? Is a year too short to make a new game? Then don't do it in a year! Wait a 2 or 3 years!

But what if this truly is what they want? What if they were truly happy with the work they've done? Then I have to say, I'm disappointed. Whether it's meant to be or not, this little amount of effort feels like a cash grab. It feels like they're trying to use the Sun and Moon hype before it dies. And it makes me worried and sad.

I want these new games to be good because I love Pokemon and cherish the series very much. But with how lazy the new design feels, how little information we've been given, how short the time span has been since the last game... I don't feel hyped up or excited.

Please Pokemon. Change that.
