According to Koei Tecmo, the Samurai Warriors 5 marks the new fresh, re-imagining of the franchise. It will including an all-new storyline, revamped character designs, and a stylish new visual presentation. A new beginning to the Samurai Warriors experience, the title launches gamers into the Sengoku period, shining the in-game spotlight on characters Nobunaga Oda (織田 信長 Oda Nobunaga) and Mitsuhide Akechi (明智 光秀 Akechi Mitsuhide).
