In this episode, after the death of Grigio Raiden and the loss of Haruki's fighting spirit in the previous episode, Ultraman Z experiencing a feeling that he has never felt before. As Haruki doing his night duty at STORAGE HQ, he encountered with the Kanegon (カネゴン), who mistakenly ate all of his Ultra Medals. Then, after he tells Kanegon about he was forced to kill the monsters he fought. Kanegon said that he thought the reason Haruki could transform into Ultraman Z was because the medals trusted how kind he was.

While trying to retrieve them and avoid being found out by STORAGE's personnel, Haruki reviewed his and Z's past adventures with Kanegon. Then, after managed to retrieve the medals, Kanegon said farewell to Haruki, makes a promise to see Haruki again. Ultraman Z has understands what Haruki has been through and decides to think together with Haruki, finally reconciles with each other.

In the next episode, as Haruki sets his heart and ready to stand up and fight once again, the Fourth-Dimensional Monster (四次元怪獣 Yojigen Kaijū) named Bullton (ブルトン Buruton) appeared again and makes chaos at the STORAGE base by warping and twisting both time and space. Meanwhile, Haruki was confronted with a mysterious phenomenon!
