With the said message from the Omega Force development team, the Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires has been delayed indefinitely. Now, we have to wait for a few or several months until they have announced the game's release date.

More Samurai Warriors 5 Characters Confirmed

In Samurai Warriors 5, there are additional four returning characters who have been confirmed, which was none other than Oichi (お市), Nagamasa Azai (浅井 長政 Azai Nagamasa), Tadakatsu Honda (本多 忠勝 Honda Tadakatsu) and Toshiie Maeda (前田 利家 Maeda Toshiie).

As you know, the story in Samurai Warriors 5 has been heavily focused on Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi and is also heavily inspired by the first game and takes it a step further as it will end at Honnōji, instead of covering the Toyotomi and Tokugawa reigns like the rest of the series.

Also, it is confirmed that the Samurai Warriors 5 will have 27 playable characters.
