When I was watching Season 3, every bit of me got terrified when Shiro didn't show up in the first episode. They talked about him, but he didn't show up.

And they put Keith in charge. Okay, I didn't really have a problem with that, because I get it. It was a reference back to the 1984 cartoon.

That's cool and all, but you don't scare the crap out of me for, like, 4 episodes with no Shiro, and then BAM-- Start Episode 5 with Shiro breaking out of a Galra ship. That's not very comforting.

But I got over it, crying tears of joy that he was alive, logic, but then they go to have Shiro pilot the Black Lion, and the Lion basically says no. Fuck you. And that bothers me because at the very beginning, Allura says that the Lions have to share the same heart (or personality or whatever) with the Paladin, and you said that Shiro was a Natural Born Leader.

You said that Shiro and the Lion have a connection.

SHIRO SAID that he had a strong bond with that Lion.

THAT LION SAVED SHIRO'S ASS FROM ZARKON.

SO WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON? WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM? DO THEY NEED MARRIAGE COUNSELLING? DO THEY NEED BOND COUNSELING? IS THERE SOMETHING THAT THE LIONS AREN'T TELLING US? I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK MAN.
