" ALEC HURRY UP. WE NEED TO GET MOVING!!!" Yelled Jace.

Alec sighed and rolled his eyes as he quickly finished getting ready.

It was Friday night and Jace wanted to go demon hunting.

Normally Alec didn't mind going hunting with his Parabatai, but sometimes Jace can be so annoying.

Alec slung his bow over his shoulder and quickly raced out of his room door and down the steps towards Jace.

The second he made it there Jace smirked. " Come on slow poke. I betcha I can kill more demons tonight then you." Says Jace.

Alec scoffed. " As if. "

They two of them left the Institute and turned left, deeper into town.

It had been a long while since they had a good battle with a demon.

Jace was itching for a fight. Alec didn't care either way.

The two Shadowhunters quickly tracked down a shape shifting demon.

The two had put on runes before they left. No one could see them or their weapons.

" I'll let you take this one since there are people around. " says Jace.

Alec quietly brought out his bow and took out a arrow. He aimed at the head of the demon and let go.

The arrow soared through the air and came in contact with the demons head killing it.

No one around it seemed to notice. Alec kept his bow ready in case more were to come.

The two Shadowhunters slowly backed up into the dark shadows of the alley.

They turned and ran off. They came to a abandoned street where a few demons were located.

They always seemed to find a few here.

Alec had a arrow in his hand along with his bow, ready to fire at any moment.

Jace held his seraph blade ready. However being ready did nothing.

They were ambushed the second they entered one of the alleys.

By vampires of all things. They moved fast. To fast.

In seconds they had the two Shadowhunters pinned against the wall.

Weapons on the ground. The vampires had a hand around their throats.

They couldn't breath. As their vision soon started to fade one vampires spoke.

" Nighty night little Shadowhunters. "

Then everything went black.

The next time Alec woke, he woke to loud banging of bars.

Alec looked and blinked. He then spotted Jace banging on the metal bars of the cell they were in, in some random building.

They knew for sure they weren't in the vampires actual home.

Which meant these are rogue vampires.

" Jace stop banging on the bars. You know very well that's not going to do anything." Says Alec.

Jace flipped around and relief filled his eyes as he saw his Parabatai was awake and ok.

" Finally. It's about time you woke." Says Jace.

" Where are we?" Says Alec.

" Not sure. We're still in Manhattan. I know that. I'm just not sure where in Manhattan we are. "Says Jace.

Alec nodded. He then noticed the bruises of Jace's neck.

" They took our stele's. I would have healed myself and you if I had them. " says Jace.

Alec nodded. " I can't believe they took us down so easily. " says Jace.

" They took us by surprise. We were looking out for demons. Not vampires. " says Alec.

Jace nodded. Then the door far away opened and a two vampires walked in closing the door behind them.

They then walked up to the cell. " Hello puny Shadowhunters. I'm Jared and this is Jasmine. " says Jared.

" Ugh. Ok you blood sucking mutants. Skip the small talk and tell us what it is you want." Says Jace.

" Fine then." Says Jared. He then smirked. " We want setting from your Institute. Something deep inside it. We can't get to it since we can't step foot on the grounds of the Institute. That's where your buddies come in. We have taken you and sent a message to let them know we have you. If we don't get what we want, we'll kill you. Once we have it. We'll let you two go. See, it's as simple as that."

" What is it you need?" Says Alec.

" Now that I can't tell you, but I will tell you this. It's very important that we get it. " says Jared.

" Just sit tight Shadowhunters. It won't be long now." Says Jasmine before the two left.

Alec sighed. " Great. Do you really think the others would get what they want to save us?" Says Alec.

" Isabelle would. We're her family. The only ones in it that don't frustrate her are us. "Says Jace.

Alec nodded. " If they do come they had better have some plan as to how their stoping these vampires. they'll have is free in no time. Magnus will more then likely track us." says Alec.

Jace nodded and sat down. " I seriously hope your right. Being stuck in a cell is boring. "

Alec managed a slight smile. They didn't know how long they waited there before a portal appeared under the two Parabatai and they fell through.

They ended up on the floor outside the building they had just been in.

Isabelle, Clary, Simon and Magnus were by there side in seconds.

Magnus and Isabelle quickly yanked the two up and shoved weapons in their hands.

Alec quickly put his stuff on his back and had his bow ready.

They took off running. " Once we make it onto the grounds of the Institute we'll be safe." says Isabelle.

" Ok. Let's hurry. I'm sick of vampires. " yelled Jace.

They were being chased by the vampires.

Alec didn't even have to look. He put his bow behind him and fired. By the sound of a body hitting the ground he had hit it.

They ran faster. Soon the Institute came into sight.

Just then Isabelle and Alec were both tackled by vampires.

Isabelle yelled as they hit the ground.

Alec fought to get them away and grab his bow off the ground that was currently out of his reach.

Jace used the seraph blade he had  been given and Attacked the ones at Isabelle.

As for Alec, three huge lightning sticks of power hit the vampires and sent them flying off Alec.

Alec quickly turned and grabbed his bow. Magnus helped him up and they all ran onto the grounds of the Institute.

" Ok. We should be safe here. "Says Clary.

They went inside and sat down. Isabelle and Clary putting healing runes on Jace and Alec. " We sent the note the vampires gave us after Magnus used it to track where the vampires were to the Clave. They should handle those rogue vampires. " says Isabelle.

" Thanks for coming to our aid. " says Alec.

The four of the smiled. " Anytime boys. Anytime." Says Magnus.

Jace then clapped his hands together. " Ok. Let's get something to eat. I'm hungry." Says Jace.

" Ok, but Isabelle ain't cooking." Says Alec.

" AGREED!!" They all yelled.

Isabelle rolled her eyes. " Idiots. " And with that they spent the rest of the hour waiting to hear word from the Clave that they took care of the rogue vampires and they ate.
